Disappointing experience in this restaurant. The place has no identity. Half Swiss, half Spanish reflected in the menu. I visited this restaurant 10 days ago due to a business dinner. In order to avoid noises among my hosts I di not complaint and give back the dish that I have ordered. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel and I got 3... More

I have been to this restaurant once a year since many years with my office colleauges. The food is excellent and fine. The restaurant offers good local (veal) and Mediterranean (seafood) dishes while the wine list is not inexpensive.

The Metzg has been my favourite restaurant to take clients for 3 years running, both for lunch and dinner. Excellent Swiss & Spanish Dishes Fresh Ingredients Intimate Atmosphere Surprisingly Low Prices for Zurich The place is set like a traditional Beiz/Inn with long wooden tables a nice personal touch and very friendly staff. It has been run by a Swiss... More

A good old-school restaurant with years of tradition, many regular customers, very friendly staff and fantastic food, especially in the hunting season. A great wine list. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a very authentic local restaurant with excellent food and a wonderful little garden terrace when the weather is nice. The service is very kind and the food delicious!

We went here with an important customer who was local and chose Metzg. It was a pretty good choice with very tasty fresh food. As a non Swiss person I wanted to try something local and typical and this is what you get. I would go back to Metzg and would also recommend to others to give it a try.

The Metzg in Zurich Seefeld is one of the those places where the locals go, because it gets it right. It is small. There is no flash. White linen, attentive service, a nice classic menu, good value at lunch. The tables seat four or six. If you need a very intimate two-seater, this is not for you. What you get... More

This is an owner run restaurant and it shows - lots of care goes into the personal service and excellent food which is being served. They offer great value lunch menus. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant - but what counts - good service and good food at a reasonable price is there. We can highly recommend this restaurant.
