I really enjoy the place, the sushis werevery good. I was very happy of the visit. The only problem was the soya sauce that had a very weird taste ! The service was quick, and the waitress very kind. Very cute food presentation.

Warm welcome (even with the Passport Gourmand) from the delightful staff. Delicious seaweed salad and edamame followed by the very best sushi I have eaten in Lausanne for a very long time!!! My daughter's Chicken Teriyaki was also a hit!! Thanks so much - we'll be back soon!!

My co-workers and I went there on Valentine's night for dinner. There are only special Valentine's menu. There are 4 choices, there were 4 of us..so we ordered all 4 menu. Food is good and the taste is fine. The quality of fish is not the top but given the level of this restaurant, it's okay for the price. I... More

Chose this Restaurant by "accident" and were very happy about it. The Service was very friendly and fast. The Food was super authentic and fresh: Chose the gyozas - whithout exageration they belong to the best ones we ever ate. As main we enjoyed the delicious udon soup (crunchy veggies) and the waferthin cut ginger Beef. The only Point which... More

The atmosphere is not a typical Japanese restaurant: it looks like they just kept the furnitures of the previous restaurants and added some Japanese cliché. nevertheless, the staff is really friendly. even though the service was really slow, it was worthy the waiting: we really enjoyed our mixed sushi/rolls/uramaki. Take care: if you go by car it's almost impossible to... More

Best Japanese in town. Sushi are amazing, crispy beef is amazing and fried ravioli are simply awesome. Enjoy;)) Trust me we have four very demanding children and it's oniwa or nothing ;))

I recently dined at this small sushi restaurant that was out of the way in Lausanne. The sushi was surprisingly decent and the prices not terribly high. But the place was so depressing. It was a Tuesday night but besides another table, I was the only person there. The decor is quite odd. A bunch of books are stacked along... More

The sushi was very good and isn't too expensive, but the rest was average. For instance the miso soup tasted exactly like what you get in a supermarket. The main thing to improve is service. It was unbelievably slow and disorganised.

It is a little friendly restaurant. The ambient is cosy ad warm. Their food quality is quite good, although we did not try sushi. we had an amazing tataki thon and grilled raviolis followd by a wonderful shrimp tempura and a chicken teriyaki. All very good! The service is warm and friendly, but their french is a little low and... More

It seems like when it comes to sushi the Chinese don't get it. There are numerous examples in Paris but at least there are cheaper than Oniwa. The menus priced between 55 and 75 Swiss Francs are horribly expensive for the quality. Miso soup is too salty (very likely instantly prepared stuff), sashimi is very average (tuna especially), and sushi... More
