The manager, Romain made us feel so welcome even when the restaurant was fully booked during a very busy holiday season. He took the time to help us. We came back the next night and had the most wonderful and friendly culinary service. Food and...staff were amazing. We saw how well Romain treated all his guests. Motria and OstapMore

Went on spec to have dinner. Very friendly staff (multilingual) and great chef / patron. The fish was excellent and the Ile Flotante was exceptional. Good wine choice including many local wines. We will be returning

Who'd have thunk our first meal our recent 9-day trip to Switzerland and Lyon would be our best? It seemed a bit spendy at the time (and it was our most expensive meal), but it was absolutely delicious, high quality, well executed the whole way...through, and accommodating of us showing up at 9pm. I had slow-cooked beef wrapped in the most delicate of cabbage (could you even call it cabbage?), drizzled with mashed potatoes and au jus around the edge. It was such an elegant take on a classic preparation. Devine. The wine pours were not generous, I'd recommend ordering a bottle. But overall this was AMAZING, and I wish we had it some time into our trip so we could reflect on just how uniquely impressive it was.More

Stephane and his team produce an excellent dining experience. Tucked away in a little street close to the Centre of town this is a jewel worth finding. My wife is cautious of sauces that have cream, however she remarked how delicately balanced the food and...the sauces were. Frogs legs Scallops Veal Hake All washed down with a delightful Swiss Pinot Noir. Well worth a visit.More

I have been with my wife for dinner. The first thing that impressed me when entering the restaurant was the welcoming with a smile from one of the waitresses. By the way when we have left the chef shake hands and wished us a evening....These are very key details that can make the difference in the restaurant business. The food and the wine were excellent. We had a green salad and the octopus as starter and veal’s cheeks and tuna as a main course. As dessert we shared an apple cake which was really delicious. The restaurant was full and the service was very professional and nice. By the way also their bread was excellent. Definitely a place to come backMore

Only one regret: why did I not find this restaurant earlier? Paris bistro interior. Excellent service. Lively vibe. Good wines...: but the food, the food: out of this world. Had the jamon and risotto: absolutely fantastic: no schnick-schnack, but honest food made from triple A...ingredients. My new favourite for Lausanne!More

My college-aged son and I ate dinner at this restaurant. We arrive a bit before the restaurant opened, but were cheerfully greeted, and asked to wait at the tables outside, where I was served with a glass of wine! We could relax and wait for...the restaurant to be opened. We were then shown to a very nice table in the cozy restaurant, and had quite personal service! The menu was explained to us, and great choices were recommended. The waitress was very helpful and quite fun! So many things on the menu looked tempting! Everything was quite delicious! Everyone in the restaurant looked quite happy with their selections too!More

Heard it was the best French restaurant in Lausanne and I wasn't disappointed. Had dinner here on a rainy evening and it was awesome. The ambience was relaxing, the staff were friendly and on hand to carefully explain the French menu written on the wall...and thereafter answered all questions. The crabmeat entrée was delicious and I couldn't get enough of the juicy lobsters I had for the main course. Although we declined ordering dessert, we got complimentary raspberry mousse and some chocolates which was just perfect. Pricey but definitely worth it.More

We came across this restaurant one winters day and were immediately attracted by the warm ambiance and Brasserie decor inside. We were lucky to get a table as it was still early but the restaurant filled up soon after so reservations are recommended. Service was...slow but friendly. The food was delicious: prepared with care, good presentation, fresh produce. The only downside was that it was surprisingly expensive for what was meant to be a casual weeknight dinner.More
