On our recent visit to St Moritz we ate here twice and for good reason - good food, well priced (for St Moritz) and a nice location. Its situated out of town, in its own glade, and I think the setting wonderful. The proprietor is...a bubbly, engaging character and the restaurant is in his image. Even the art is provided by his father. On our evening visit there was live music with a female artist performing. It was never intrusive and she was excellent. The food is very good, the wine list is focused and well matched to the menu. We had a lovely time. My veal schnitzel was too big and I ate the second half for lunch on the following day - delicious.More

The owners are always pretty kind and food delicious.. maybe not the healthiest or the lightest.. but who cares? If you wanna taste a little of Valtellina when in Sankt Moritz you should come here. Yesterday we had pizzoccheri (they differ from the traditional one...since made also with greenbeans), gnocchetti di chiavenna, sciatt and asparagus with hollandaise sauce.More

Here you can eat some of the most common dishes of Valtellina (northern Italy): sciatt, pizzoccheri and a delicious air dried beef(bresaola). Nothing pretentious: few seats, simple building but the perfect place to spend some time with friends.
