Excellent food, pity about the horrible service, after having had: aperitif, salad and a main course with wine and finally an espresso for a total of 106 fr and having asked to pay 115 fr (a more than generous tip in my opinion) the change...we received was 30 fr, as if we had left a 14 fr tip. On checking the receipt, we noticed that 3 fr 'küche uondas offen' had also been charged. We asked to speak to the head of the room, who after nodding left the room and never came back, probably to avoid having to explain. In addition, everything was served far too quickly, receiving the wine and salad 5 minutes after the aperitif, and the main course as soon as the salad was finished did not allow us to enjoy anything, the espresso arrived before we had time to finish the wine, all while they were already preparing all the tables for breakfast the next day. We will definitely not be returning and I would not recommend going there if you want decent serviceMore

Excellent restaurant

We ate twice at the restaurant (lunch & dinner) while we stayed at the hotel. Both the service and food were excellent. Many GF choices (note that unlike many restaurants which mark gluten meals, they mark GF meals). Pretty view of the river when sitting...next to the window.More

Over estimated

Over estimated!! Expensive for nothing, not worth value for money. The waitress push us to spend as much as possible, we had the feeling of being ripped off! The meat was not good, two pieces chosen from their blackboard served with big bones that of...course were included in the weight. On piece was fat so we had to throw most of it but tasty, the other had a very strong burned taste We had a kind of local pizza that was impossible to digest. We will never go back!More

Amazing food and great service

Great steakhouse, laid-back atmosphere, excellent meat

We greatly enjoyed our dinner here - we had a 200 g lamb rack, burger, and children's portion of flammenküchen. Food is extremely tasty and well presented. Service is top notch - friendly server who answered our question and spoke English well. Outside, there is...an excellent playground just along the river. Very nice experience

We were there for the post Covid opening and as expected the team was not perfect but they made it up with passion and dedication. The food was excellent and so were the wines. The interior is modern and fresh. Will be back.More

Good food

Absolutely fantastic pumpkin soup. Some of the food was a bit too slaty, but that is something I find a general trend in most of the Europe, and it is likely just due to my personal preference for quite low salt intake.

Still excellent

We eat lunch there every year (we walk a lot around here at winter and try to arrive in a lunch time). I wrote about this place two years ago. It is still excellent. A food and a service are great. It is mostly Italian...and their homemade pasta is just fantastic. A good thing is, that you can order half a portion and it will be big enough for any taste.More

Very good aged steak

Wonderful aged steak. Extremely juice and tender. They have a board with different weights of the steak that would get crossed out when sold. Note that the steak is weighed with the bone which is around 100 grams. The crispy sweet potato fries are also...amazing.More

Absolutely Great "Grill" Restaurant

We ate here 3 nights for dinner, as we were staying at the Hotel Chesa Rosatsch. This restaurant is tops. My husband had a burger one night, and then had the "teriyaki" steak twice. He is a picky eater, and they happily did substitutions on...side dishes for him. I had two different styles of steak (entrecote)--Parisian and just plain. Both were great. They were served with grilled vegetables (eggplant, sweet peppers, zucchini) that were terrific. The service was spot-on. This was the best food on a 5-week trip in Norway and Switzerland.More
