As we approached we could smell chemicals and hear a lot of noise - there were major roadworks right outside the restaurant! ..and we were seated on the terrace. Other than that the food and service were good.

A friend and I had a wonderful meal. My favorites were the beginning and end. I started with the pumpkin soup and ended with and affogato w/amaretto. These were very flavorful and satisfying. That's not to say we didn't enjoy the main course. I had...the whole sea bass with a side of spinach, which was well prepared and tasty. My friend had the risotto, which he greatly enjoyed. Definitely a place to stop for a nice meal.More

We are here as a large group, sometimes with larger groups the service in restaurants can be very slow, that was not the case here. The service was excellent throughout the evening. The food was very nice, we had a white wine soup and beef...for main, both were excellent. I would be happy to visit this restaurant again.More

The food has been of very good quality, tasteful and nicely presented. The...local wines have been of surprisingly excellent quality. Go for them. We‘ve enjoyed the Hedinger Sauvignon Blanc and the Dichterwii Pinot noir. As well available by the glass. The prices are very reasonable according to the high performance of the eatery. Fantastic restaurant in Schaffhausen with superb service and menu. Fresh menu with daily soups made from seasonal specialties like Romanesco Soup. Really tasty burgers and a Boar Burger. Thankfully they spoke English because my Swiss-German is not so great. Lots to choose on the menu...so it will be hard to pick. Recommend making reservations as I am sure they stay busy. Decor is first class with carved wood and tablecloth service as well as professionally trained staff. It was very nice being able to pay separately for our group of 8. This will be a keeper for our day visit to the Falls!More

This restaurant is not large and when we tried to book online, it was fully booked. So we phone and were able to get a last-minute table. The food was great, from the gazpacho to a terrific vegiburger and a huge whole fish (dorade) Wine...good. Servers were efficient and in good humor. Casual decor, tables not too close together, and nice ambience. We would have gone a second night but it's not open on Sunday.More

Family visited in the heat of the day and sat on the outdoor patio under the shade of a tree. Comfortable. Great service. Excellent food. Vegetarian options.
