Small two room owner driven Restaurant with changing decoration and menu. Different Lunch menu between 15-20 CHF of more than good quality. Good choice of local wines and very attentive service. To recommend.

Upon arrival we were greeted with friendliness. The menu is short but, what we had was very well cooked and presented and tasted good. A typical engaged husband and wife team. We dined in the garden, somewhat neglected but with a few tables plonked on...the ground. inside looked pleasant enough with character. This is a modest establishment but the "team" make an effort to ensure the customers are satisfied and go away happy, which we did. Will be back as I suspect most of their clientele also do. What a jewel of a place! We dined in the back garden and immediately felt at home. We were welcomed as if were long-time friends and had been invited to dinner in our host's garden. Wonderful. We ordered the menu which was filled with scrumptious...surprises. I am still thinking about the Avocado Crème Brûlée which was an absolute delight. Every bite was a joy to the palate. We visited Shaffhausen in June, and finally found this restaurant after visiting the falls. I left 3 messages, no return call. No hours on the door, weeds growing in the pots out front. Everyone we spoke to never heard of this place, but that didn't...stop us. No sign of closing, nothing!More

Incredible food, wine, atmosphere and service at this little cozzy restaurant in the center of Neuhausen, just getting inside with the warm welcoming of owners Evelyne and Stefan you know you are in the right place to taste a great dinner pair with a great...local wine, I always asked Evelyne for advise on what to eat that night and she always get it right, her husband Stefan is a great chef, use local ingredients and always put his personal touch in his creations, you will love it, guarantee, alls the reviews I have read about it including this one are just short of the experience, SUPERB!!!More

If you plan to visit the Rhine Falls, take your time and find this lovely, small restaurant just a few steps away from the falls, near the center of Neuhausen. You will love the great food and the friendly atmosphere. You get a lot for...your money and you will be more than happy, I can guarantee because I am a regular guest.More
