Had an hour to wait before the paddle steamer and the Gotthard Panorma Express so this little cafe close to the main railway station was very convenient and although it was hard to wheel our bags through the cramped cafe we found a seat outdoors and enjoyed a coffee. They reserve tables so beware and it can be cold oudoors... More

We needed a nice quiet waterfront cafe to have lunch when arriving in Lucerne. This place had everything including good food at a fair price.

Came here for a beer and some coffee. I have to say I really liked the atmosphere and the service was really friendly. The only downside is that they didn't accept credit card.

I love the fact that its on the waterfront, there are nice drinks and in the summer you can watch all the activities around the lake. Prices are OK, food a little expensive for the budget conscious tourists or backpackers. But i still recommend a quick beer or apéro before heading out further. In winter you can warm up with... The restaurant/bar is perfectly located near the train station and right by the waterside. It feels like sitting in a beautiful conservatory with massive hanging designer chandeliers lighting up the cosy atmosphere. We came around dinner time and whilst there was food available, it was quite a limited selection, and felt more like lunch/a bite to eat. I don't think... More

While on 2nd last day in Basel I went to Lucerne (Luzern) and after cruise trip was over i went to this restra. There are two sitting options. I chose one close to facing river. Ordered food. Was serviced nicely. Had great one. Enjoyed the taste.

Really nice spot near the Luzern train station. There is plenty of seating inside and on the patio facing the lake. The food is great. The Halloumi sandwich was amazing!!!!!

We got a few sandwiches to go, whilst we waited for our boat. The set up to order/pay was a little confusing, but the sandwiches were tasty, and sitting by the water was lovely.

We stopped here for a drink and a snack one rainy afternoon. It sits right next to the river. The prices for our drinks were outrageous. 1 rum and coke = 13 Francs; 1 Coke = 4.80; 1 Mineral Water = 4.80. CRAZY

There are plenty of fancy hotel restaurants along the Vierwaldstattersee for fine (and calorific) meals, but this little bistro is right on the water, close to where the steamships come in, and offers drinks, snacks, and libations! I sat outside (to better enjoy the view of the hills and mountains surrounding Luzern) and enjoyed a wurst, small salad, and a beer... More
