Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This restaurant has an interesting Scandinavian inspired menu that uses local ingredients. Everything we ate was delicious and the prices were very reasonable for being Switzerland; The staff were also friendly and attentive, I'd eat there again!

We loved this restaurant. We also stayed at this hotel and could equally recommend. The food was amazing, we had the vegetarian menu and it was lovely. Great atmosphere and staff was fantastic. We got some Swiss wine recommendations and loved it!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated it is well lit and has some comfortable music the food is wonderful and there are many different options one of them is a skier menu that is a 3 course meal which gives you everything needed to get back...on the slopes the next day. The waiters are very friendly. In general I recommend without hesitation.More

We came in with no reservations and they said they can only serve us at the bar area (smaller menu) I had beef tartare and mushroom soup. Tartare was delicious and unique as had some grain and root veggies that provided nice texture contrast. However...it was a small dish. Soup was completely uneatable (so salty and bitter). Replacement soup had the same issue. Service was ok and they apologized and didn’t charge for the soup.More

Lively spot the hotel and then the restaurant is a heaven of divine eating. We loved the ‘fusion’ approach between Nordic kitchen and using ‘Switzerland’ local ingredients, a success story! Check like always your bill!

Have been here several times over the last years. First time to rate 5/5. The kitchen has always been great, and now it’s even better! Innovative and delicious dishes. A lot of local, down to earth, ingredients. Attention to detail and a fun twist to...the dishes. Nice, cosy, bohemian cool premises. Really wonderful staff. Hard working, knowledgeable and very friendly. Recommend to book a table in advance.More

We had a group dinner planned there mid-December, we had a very nice moment! Food quality was superb, dishes were original and well presented. The staff was very attentive and nice. My only regret: I wish we had a written menu, or have someone explaining...us what was being served - it’s always nicer to know what you have on your plate, especially when the Chef makes such an effort to provide very high-quality dishes!More

After a long drive to reach Engelberg we decided to eat at Konrad's at the Ski Lodge where we were staying as it was convenient. We didn't know anything about the place and really didn't expect anything special but were absolutely blown away with our...meals. From appetizer through dessert it was some of the tastiest and most creative cuisine we've had in Europe, rivaling most of the most expensive restaurants in Paris or big cities. The obviously accomplished chef has a changing, very different, creative menu made with locally sourced sustainable ingredients and presented beautifully. All this in a relaxed, comfortable candle lit atmosphere where you don't have to dress up. Yes, the prices may be a bit more than some places but is worth it. They also have an excellent wine list and cocktail selection. Booking a reservation especially weekends will avoid disappointment.More

This is a lot more modern than other restaurants in the area. There is a daily-changing skiers menu and you can mix/match an option from there with other courses on the main menu. My husband picked the antipasti platter to start and that is more...than enough for 2 people to share. The bar attached to the restaurant had a great buzz and lots of seating both inside and outside. I would recommend booking here, as we didn't get in the first night we walked up so booked for the second night.More
