You're obliged to order a main dish or two entrees. Much to my dismay the waiter refused to serve an entree, drink, and dessert.

Having been in many of the top Vietnamese restaurants in Paris, DC, San Fran, and elsewhere, Bat Dat rates near the top with some of the finer meny selections and superior preparation. Restaurant is well appointed and the service is excellent.
