As a child, I used to go to the Café du Bourg-de-Four every so often, and loved the simple menu, potato rösti, pljeskavica (sort of burger), the slavic salad. Years later, this place hasn't changed an inch, continues to be of the upmost quality, and is a must on every visit back home. I've taken many friends there, and approval... More

Popular with the locals. Have eaten here a few times and is always packed at lunchtime so get here early. Tables are very close together so probably not the best place for a private conversation. Food is very Swiss with Rosti being the main theme. Service was pretty fast and the food was fine.

this was my first visit here (even though I have been in GVA for 2 years now). The restaurant is in the heart of the old town, so a very pretty and historic location. The restaurant had a very romantic, cosy feeling - so great for a date or a special occasion. We had the 'rosti' which is typically Swiss... More

Tucked away in the old town, it looks using and charming from the outside. It's the same inside too. I arrived without reservation on a busy Friday night before Christmas. They found me a table towards the rear. Cosy and quiet. I thought. Soon enough even more diners arrived and the place was alive. I had the nave tote with... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice deco and atmosphere. Vinyl fans can play sets prior to booking in the apero hours. Traditional swiss and french cousine. Very good rosti and serbian salad. A recent add on - entrecote burger is worth a try. Gets busy at lunch time so would recommend to reserve table.

This delightful little cafe off the square is very welcoming, it is like going back to the cafes of the 50's and has a nice relaxing atmosphere in the morning. We had a coffee and a croissant, the croissant melted in the mouth and the coffee was not bad. A nice little place to stop and take stock.

We only had coffee and chocolate here, late afternoon, so this is not a very useful insight; but do visit and read the other reviews on food! It's in a great position on the place du Bourg de Four. The décor is a fascinating throwback: old postcards, of a certain type, and a range of interesting cartoons and caricatures. If... More

You can't go wrong. Solid Swiss traditional flare at the right price. The locals love it and so will you.

Very good food, things are kept simple and the focus is on the essential, ie tasty food. The röstis are particularly good, possibly the best I have had in Geneva over the years. Very nice location too!!

Just a short walk from the Musee d'Art et d'Histoire, one may enjoy the funky decor which is a bit old in the tooth what with some loose corners of the numerous posters plastered on the ceiling, some paintings of the street featuring the establishment coming out of their frames, and an array of pen and ink caricatures on one... Description
It is a straight forward inexpensive restaurant in the old city of Geneva with a general European cuisine, mixed with a few Balkan dishes. It does a good rosti. But the general food enjoyment is let down by a surly and rude waiter.
