The three happy gents behind the small cosy bar looked after us, spoke good English and organised our drinks and an aperitivo plate of local meat and Cheese. The cheese was incredible and was actually made by one of the barman.... Soooo good. He even...brought us more! We paid just 20 euros for two beers, two proseccos and a plate of amazing bread and nibbles. You have to visit here. Great atmosphere, great food, great price.More

This place has a super cool atmosphere, Marchino and the all staff are very nice and professional. Food appetizers (tagliere) are made with top quality ingredients, difficult to resist! Marchino is a real showman and will entertain you while taking care of you too. If...you want to make a beautiful experience of Perugia's night life go to Caffe dal Perugino!More

One of the most friendliest cafe's I have ever visited anywhere in the world. the bar staff were totally openhearted and we were made to feel at home within minutes. Its a true Perugian cafe, its not a tourist trap. and I would encourage anyone...visiting Perugia to visit this cafe for a drink and some antipasta and enjoy the hospitality and friendship. In one word. Excellent.More

Caffe Dal Perugina is tucked in Piazza Matteotti, which is one of the most popular squares in the historic center of Perugia. Their wine selection is impressive and the staff is very friendly. It's a small place, like many of the cafes in Perugia, so...if there isn't room inside, you can take your drink outside - great for people watching too! We've been a few times and plan to return.More

This place is the best one in Perugia because the owner and the staff are very friendly and professional. You can drink something or you can eat very tasty local products. Food and service are great and it has an excellent quality-price ratio. This bar...is often frequented by local people that are very friendly and helpful too. So, if you are italian or a foreign person, I think that you should definitely go there.More

Great inexpensive bar with complimentary snacks, not just the usual crisps and nuts. We had difficulty finding it as we were looking for a restaurant and it has a tiny shopfront.

Got into town and wanted some wine and lite food. Found this spot on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. We almost left because we didn’t see any seats inside and it was a bit cold outside, but...turns out there are a few small tables in the back. Didn’t catch their names but both staff were friendly and service was excellent. Food and wine were equally as good and price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!!More

Caffè dal Perugino is a coffee and wine bar in the heart of the Centro Storico of Perugia. You’ll get a very good glass of Italian wine at a very reasonable price, especially Umbrian wines. They have an excellent selection of bottled wines for purchase...and Italian beers including the excellent Ichnusa beers from Sardinia. It’s popular with a broad clientele. At breakfast, lawyers and street cleaners pop in for coffee and a cornetto. At lunch workers and shoppers arrive for a quick pranzo. It is often crowded in the evenings and that is part of its charm. The cafe has limited seating. However, when the weather warms up, it spreads out with tables on the sidewalk for 8 - 9 months. Having moved to Perugia relatively recently, I have never felt anything less than welcomed by staff and regulars. The staff are well trained, friendly, and entertaining, service with Italian panache,. Some English is spoken, but they are patient with your attempts at Italian. If you’re looking for the real Italy, it is here in this little bar. If you ask, you’ll be served at any time of day a platter of freshly made canapes, slices of various regional meats, salame and cheese. For lunch there are ready-made rolls and a selective menu of typical Italian snacks. The ambience of the cafe is authentic Italy, but there is additional feature. For in this bar at the right time with its excellent wines and gourmet platters you might also experience something of the Italian passion for the national game....More
