Amazing taste, great view, very nice waitress and a pleasent atmosphere! The staff was friendly and we really enjoyed our meal thanks to them and to the great typical food of Perugia.

Wonderful quiet place in the Perugia city center. Very nice outdoor seating. Well prepared Italian food and kind service. The red wine called L'Arringatore was excellent. Some very original antipasti: pecorino soufflé with red onion and ricotta cheesecake with baked cherry tomatoes and basil.

I’ve never eaten anything like the pesto that’s made and served here. The pesto has thyme, marjoram, basil, hazelnuts with walnuts crumbled on top. No garlic or cheese. The umbracelli pasta ( similar to spaghetti) is tossed with the pesto and it’s something that’s difficult...More

I loved this restaurant mainly because of the atmosphere. We stayed in a VRBO nearby, and wandered to Il Cantinone for a very late night dinner. It's pretty unassuming, but once you walk down the steps to go inside, you feel as though you've stepped...More

They do have one in the restaurant, as well as several staff that speak excellent English, we've just visited again today. It's well worth a visit.
