We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the options were incredible and the owner or staff knew the various libations. Definite revisit. BUT do not ask for restaurant recommendations - he then turns to tourists as ignorant and sends you to an average restaurant (Alla Balestra) -...is it because it’s around the corner or because we’ve been ‘profiled’. Ouf!More

Fantastic bar along quiet, quirky road in Gubbio, just below the Piazza Grande. Fantastic wine choice set in great location. Nibbles provided when drinking with extremely attentive staff! Will certainly go back to enjoy more local delights!

We visited this bar on recommendation of our hotel receptionist Andrea. They have a wide selection of drinks including Tanqueray Rangpur and fever tree tonic. The decor is quite kitch with comfy chesterfields and plenty of curios. The trancy house back ground music was pleasant...not intrusive and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Not a cheap bar, but a great barMore

Martintempo is a very smart cocktail bar in a lovely old street just beneath Piazza Grande. It was actually the sort of place you could easily pass by if you just fancied a simple beer, but fortunately I popped in and confirmed that they also...sell birra alla spina - so we were more than pleased. We drank our splendid beers at a table on the outside patio, watching the very slow pace of life in Gubbio wander past. Service was excellent, as was the beer and the ambience. In short - this is a cracking bar.More

This lovely wine bar was just around the corner from the excellent Hotel Gattapone. It was quiet when we popped in but still had a lovely warm welcome to it. Great selection of wine by the glass or bottle and some simply beautiful complimentary snacks...included.More

Dropped in for an Apertivo and stayed... This bar is unique and you can tell these guys have travelled and incorporated the best of what they've seen into this inviting bar. Marco is an excellent host, the atmosphere and service were great, he and Gabriele...made a great effort to make our evening comfortable and the impromtu tasting platter of meats and cheeses they prepared was superb. If you go anywhere in Gubbio, go here.More

Initially popped in just to taste some local wine, but the selection of them was so good, place was so cosy and Marco, Gabriele and Paola so friendly, that ended up spending the whole evening there and would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you very...much guys!More

Went to this bar around 8pm alone as my wife's flight was cancelled due to a strike of the Italian air traffic controllers. I chose the bar from TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. First up the 2 guys working there Marco and Angelico were really...welcoming and friendly. They provided excellent snacks using a lot of local specialities. The range of wines by the glass was not extensive but nicely chosen. There was a range of sparkling, white, red and rosé. The bar looked really nice and well stocked and you could also buy wines by the bottle. They excel in making cocktails although didn't have i watched with admiration at the skills on display. The furnishings and decor in general gave a genuine feeling of being in a classy bar with a warm atmosphere. Will go back again to try an interesting German, Black Forest gin they serve. A real gem!More
