At least that is how I refer to the restaurant, it has goood chips here. It also has amazing pizza, mains, seconds.... the menu has the typical Italian and Tuscan food options. So suits all. They also cater to vegans- limited choice unless you have pizza. Ask for senza mozzarella and you're good to go. :)

While not a fancy place, Trattoria Fontegiusta made for an enjoyable evening. Our food was very good, down-home Tuscan cooking. Lots of locals and a reservation guaranteed us a spot. I would definitely go back.

I passed by Siena in January and I was recommended this osteria. One can easily taste the typical Specialties of the area, including appetizers and main courses. Pasta is home made and very special. Meat is great. Wine's selection is varied and Chianti is always a good choice. Price is average and service very good. I recommend you try it... More

Located along Via Kamollia, this is one of the several popular eateries away from the very touristy places in and around Campo. It was a busy night, and with the stewardess distracted with other customers, I stumbled in to be met by the owner/chef who promptly showed us to a table. As vegetarians, we ordered a mix of pastas and... More

My wife, cousin, and I all gathered to eat at this trattoria, which is my cousin's favorite in Siena. My cousin has lived in Tuscany for 9 years and so knows the area quite well. She currently lives right next to one of the main city gates in Siena and so has learned where to get a good meal. This... More
