Walking the streets of Siena we passed this little trattoria about a 5 minute walk from Piazza del Campo and took a look at the menu. It looked interesting with the plaid table cloths and cozy interior so we decided to make a reservation for...More
Happened to walk past this place a couple of times before trying for dinner one night. Never seemed to be overly busy, but clearly popular with locals. Fantastic staff and great food (excellent value). Simply honest cooking - try the lemon chicken. Definitely an option...More
We happened upon this little place while walking to the Campo from our hotel. We had been anxious to avoid the tourist traps of the Campo restaurants and were drawn to this simple small trattoria. The menu had some of our favourites but wasn't over-long...More

In a touristy town this restaurant was a breath of fresh air. Good value home cooked Italian food at excellent prices. We all enjoyed the dishes and the service, and the Tiramisu was the best I have had anywhere.
Food was delicious, authentic and tasty. Lasagna was good, pasta was great and lemon chicken was outstanding. Service was correct and efficient. All in all, a great find and a place I'll definitely go to if I'm back in town again!
Siena Centre. Family restaurant, quality food +++ (homemade), good price. Vegetarian ok. Highly recommended.
Lovely trattoria. Perfect lunch stop on a hot day! Cool interior which gave welcome respite from the heat outside, simple but perfectly executed menu. We had meatballs, wild boar, puttenesca and rated them all. Lovely meal will visit again next visit!
