We loved it! The bruschetti and panini are delicious, the cheese was amazing and the wine was great as well! Stefano, who took care of us, was really charming and nice. We highly recommend this cute little place right in the middle of San Gimignano.

This tiny place has exceeded al of our expectations! The owner is extremely friendly, poors great wines and provides explanations about the wine and food in his best italian/english. A simple, yet very tasteful menu. With it’s two tables it’s very cosy and hence it...provides the perfect authentic local experience!More
This is an amazing place with two tiny tables, a lot of good energy and tasty food. We had lunch paninis. The owner is a super cute Italian man, he sings along to songs and smiles all the time. He prepared very tasty sandwiches for...us and offered a wine of our choice which was included in the price of a panini. Tip him well please, we need places like that. Authentic and impossible to forget! Thank youMore
Me and my girlfriend visited La Bottega last week, and absolutely recommend it. Very friendly owner. There is only one table inside, but we loved this as it was almost like a private experience! We had three different wines each (all only 3 euros each,...great price!), and with every new glass we were brought either bread, cheese, ham etc which were all tasty. Lovely gem and much better than going somewhere on the main tourist street. To top it all off, when we tried to give him a tip (we like to for exceptional service) he heavily insisted on not taking it! We eventually managed to give it to him, but this was a breath of fresh air compared to places that don't have great service but expect a tip anyway. One of our absolute best experiences in Tuscany.More
If you are looking for the top things to do in San Gimignano, this is the place to visit. It’s an authentic experience! As always, The best places are hidden in one of the side streets. Here, you will find a charming boutique of wine,...ham and cheeses. Above all, we have tried most of the top places in San Gimignano, but no place compares to having one of the best quality and rich red wines (for a couple euro, and not the usual 8 you would find in the center). I recommend to take this place for aperitif before dinner or for a lunch break- although the owner will probably greet you with a free board of cheeses and breads. Hospitality here is just beyond! Must come back!More
