I had lunch there during my stay in Pisa in January 2023. I chose bresaola with rocket and parmesan shavings as a starter; pasta with pancetta, pistachio granules and stracciatella as a first course. Excellent value for money

We arrived to find an empty restaurant but they said we couldn't sit inside, every seat inside remained empty during our visit so not sure why we couldn't sit inside. The two staff were missing very basic service skills like smiling and please and thank...you. The 5 cheese Gnocchi was ok and the sausage and gorgonzola ravioli was fine, however there was very little sausage and you couldn't taste the gorgonzola, but this was an upgrade on the tagliatelle pommadora which was salty, swimming in tasteless butter and inedible. By far the worse meal and experience we had in Pisa.More
Amazing food - you can tell by the smell of truffle as you pas outside that it's a pute Italian experience. Very reasonable prices. All takes where full and we booked a table one hour later -absolutely worth it. Please try the ravioli with truffle...cream -unreal !More
You shouldn’t treat clients as if they came ask you to borrow money. I come to eat and pay. If you don’t want to work - dot’t turn your back to people and be polite.
Extremely bad experience. It took them 1 hour to serve the pasta, never saw that before. The waiters were not attentive, very uninterested. We got the menu card after we asked for it, even that took them 20 minutes, what a joke. Don’t come here,...unless you want to waste your time & money.More
The restaurant was very cute and food was okay, my friend has a severe milk allergy and we were so happy to see that next too all the food options were the different ingredients and they even had an allergy matrix. My friend ordered the...one pasta dish with no dairy in it but also let the waitress know she was allergic. When the food came she was suspicious as it tasted really good and creamy, she asked me to try some and I could taste the same, we checked again and they assured us there was no milk in this dish so she carried on eaten then stopped herself as the anxiety of it tasting too creamy to be dairy free. When they came to take our plates they noticed that my friends plate was full still, we said again we were certain it wasn’t dairy free, the waitress bought the chef out who explained he had cooked it all in butter, he then told us we should’ve said (which we did). The chef walked off and said nothing else, no apology, at this point my friends crying as she knows she has just eaten something she is severely allergic to, the waitress comes over and takes our bill, we explained to her how important it is for this to not happen again and how we are now going to have to go to hospital. The waitress explained she only knows what’s on the menu and if she chef puts extra ingredients in it this is not to her knowledge. After this she gave us the money back for the meal, and said she hoped we would be okay. The waitresses did all they could do, however if you have an allergy matrix it is so important the chefs stick to it.More
Oh my giddy aunt. What a find unless you know where to look you would totally miss this amazing restaurant. Service was exceptional food outstanding and you know a restaurant is good when the locals eat here. If you come to Pisa stop here for...lunch. The house wine is gorgeous as it the lobster ravioli and mixed seafood pasta! Coffee is good tooMore
Was expecting better service considering the long wait. The staff wasn’t friendly seemed like they just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. The pastas were completely soaked in sauce making it hard to taste anything else.
When we arrived the restaurant was busy. ( a lot of locals and tourists) they told us to wait a few minutes. (min 6 minutes) AND IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!! The food was great. I had the gnocchi with 5 cheese. It was amazing...and affordable.More
Octopus in a spicy tomato sauce with homemade bread was amazing to start. Penne del fattore & calamarata for mains did not disappoint.
Some of the greatest quality pasta I have tasted so far in Italy. The price and quantity were just as great as the quality. All in all, an amazing restaurant! 😋
Everything went fine there. The food was really tasty, the staff was very friendly, and the price we paid was even better! Maybe the place doesn't look very nice, but you won't regret it.
Lovely little place in the centre of Pisa. I felt comfortable and welcome here as a solo traveller. The food was reasonably priced and decent portion sizes. I would definitely eat here again if I was in Pisa.
Visited this restaurant on our latest trip to Pisa, since it had good reviews but unfortunately cannot agree with them. I had the cheese Gnocchi and my friend had the truffle Ravioli. Both dishes were drowned in sauce and therefore already didn't look appealing. The...taste and quality of the dishes we ordered was very average at best and does not compare at all to the delicious food that you can get in the neighbourhood. The portions are abundant and cheap, but not worth it in our opinion.More
I live in the nearby city of Livorno and for some strange reason, can never seem to get to Pisa despite it being 15 minutes by train. I finally was able to visit in the last two days and quickly checked on tripadvisor to find...something that would not fall under the dreaded turist trap like in other cities. This quaint restaurants had so many positive reviews. It is small, but packed so my suggestion, MAKE A RESERVATION. So we waited till 3 to eat lunch, but it was worth the wait. Two huge pasta dishes, frankly big enough to divide. I had the spicy bolognese and my aunt had the dish with pistacchio, burrata, and pancetta. Both were divine. Next time I will divide an appetizer, then a pasta, then a secondo. That way I can divide and taste more food because this place is just too good to limit tasting one dish at a time. And their service is incredible, very sweet and informative waitress. I am stupid for remembering her name because she was so kind. So, please know that you will not be disappointed in this little tucked away gem, but make a reservation otherwise be prepared to wait. Oh, and personally it is so affordable it is almost too cheap if you can consider that people may divide the portions.More
