You have to book in advance to go there. Please simple as Livorno is. Very Good Food, you have to try baccala' and cacciucco. Very friendly and genuine. Not too expensive.

This is my number 1 option in Livorno. For over 4 years every time I was in town I'd go there (just check if they are open because during low season and holidays/ferragosto they might be closed). It has the best risotto nero di seppia I've eaten but they have a very nice menu with local food, sea food etc.... More

A hint from a friend lead us into this "Cantina" Really traditional, pure Italian! Behind the scenes of the busy harbor but, indeed unique! The waiter recommended us a complete meal from starting "anti pasti", towards the "house special - seafood spaghetti", and an really nice dessert! Trust us, listen to them :) We surely come back

Every time when I am in Livorno I visit this absolute perfect restaurant. Try the special cafe Livornese: Punch. Good quality for low price.

We came in at 9:00 and the place was packed with locals. But they found us a table in 10 minutes and soon we were enjoying superb seafood pastas and terrific house wine. Only two waiters for the dozen or so tables but the service was great. Three courses for three plus wine was just 40 euros.

Fabulous food in an authentic little restaurant, ideal if you have some italian as there are no menus just the waiter letting you know what fresh and on for that day. Booking would be recommended as it was packed from 9pm until we left at 10.30. Highly recommend this place if you want a real local experience.

This is a an authentic restaurant, supermarket too by the way, that is visited by local workers for their lunch. Service is friendly, food is fast and fresh.

We have now visited this place many times with our friends from Livorno and it has become an absolute must place to visit. Full of atmosphere every day, even weekday lunchtime it is full of locals enjoying the great fish and seafood. We are not big fans of the local speciality "cacciuco", but we enjoy all the other dishes served... More

Visited this restaurant 12 years ago . Then we enjoyed the black rice and fish stew. Today we had other pasta dishes and a whole fresh fish. Great experience sitting with the locals and watching their choices. Real Italy with no airs and graces. Casual atmosphere and delicious flavours, fresh fish and local wine. Just eat what they suggest and... More
