All reviews truffle steak pasta tiramisu prosciutto antipasti bread last night wonderful evening amazing restaurant wonderful food visited this restaurant quality of food besi chapel presentation firenze
We had an amazing bistecca fiorentina. The staff took the time to explain to us the origin of the meat and recommend an awesome wine to go with based on our preferences. Cozy ambience, well located, and specialized customer service. Recommended 100%!
Had an excellent dinner at Brandolino to celebrate having reached Firenze, having cycled across from Venezia (over the course of a week). Great food, great wine and great atmosphere! Service was attentive and the prices reasonable. Highly recommended.
We have had the best food in Florence so far! Pasta was cooked well, sauce was creamy and well-favored and the meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. Staff was friendly and gave great recommendations on the wine. The restaurant had a nice vibe and the...interior was beautiful, loved the old details that were still there. If you want to have a full experience, make sure you visit this place!More
As my wife and I were meeting with my sister and her partner who had flown in from the States, I asked our wonderful waiter Drino, 'no menus please'. I want us to be able to spend our time talking and catching up, so I...ask Drino, 'can you bring us two apps to place in the middle of the table, and for dinner Steak Florentine for four and a bottle of red wine that you think will go best with the food.'
He slapped his hands together, smiled, and stated, 'I got you!'
WOW did he ever! The two apps were a mix of olives, smoked meats, cheese and marinated vegetables with bread that was to die for. The wine was lovely and at no point did we have to flag Drino down. He was on the table when or if we needed anything, and he left us to our conversation when all was good.
The presentation of the Steak Florentine was wonderful as the apps were cleared with the assistance of another waiter and Drino arrived with a big wooden tray full of beautifully cooked beef.
By the time desserts roll around, we asked Drino to simply bring two treats with four spoons. We loved the food and we loved the wine! What we loved most about Ristorante Brandolino was the love that Drino gave to us as he took care of us like we were family friends!
If you are planning a visit to Florence, might I suggest making a reservation well in advance as we saw a fair amount of folks attempt to get a table only to be unfortunately turned back.More
Ristorante Brandolino was the best fine dining experience we had during our stay in Florence. We would recommend it for sure to anyone staying in the town.
All dishes were super tasty, very well cooked and brilliantly dressed. It is definitely the Italian excellence within...the plates.
The ambiance is super cosy and the waiters very kind.
We will definitely visit you again during our next stay in Florence.More
Restaurant Brandolino was our last culinery adventure before heading back home.
The salami with fenel was a great discovery !! Must try !!
Really enjoyed everthing: service, qualitative food, the wine, location & romantic set up ... An address to look out for! We will...be back for sure :)More
Dissapointing meal. Service was very average, liver pate crostini small amount and really lacked flavour.
The mains of Rabbit & Steak with blackberries were very nice but expensive and the carrot puree was cold.
My husband being a desert fan asked for advice and was...told the Tiramisu ! However it was the most disappointing of all..... mainly cream with a hint if coffee liquor and the smallest amount of saviodre biscuit
Be prepared to pay extra as it comes under a glass cloche.
We paid half the price the night before for food full of flavour and so representative of Florence and just around the corner !!!More
