I moved a week ago to Florence for working! My first restaurant where some colleges suggested me was Trattoria Angiolino. I ate , even if I was alone, the san valentine menù :). Was great, bruschetta, than prosciutto and cheese than green lasagna, lamb with sauce and cake at the end everything with 2 glasses of beautiful red wine! I've... More

Came here on Sunday and grabbed at a table for one with no reservation. Very nice waiter, great menu choices. I had the tagliatelle rage and the pork with roasted potatoes. Both dishes were enormous! Very flavourful. Wine by the glass (Chianti Reserva) was 5 euros each. Great atmosphere, waiters smiling and shouting orders and chit chatting with patrons. Felt... More

Great food and service! I have been there a couple of times and I always order the rigatoni all'amatriciana with melted cheese on top coming straight out the oven...it's a must!! Also good location and fair price..

There are days on holiday when you don't want fancy and expensive; You can't justify treating yourself to another pricey meal on holiday. And there are also those days when cheap also won't cut it; won't satisfy the desire for quality food on holiday. Some days you just want a good, home style meal, where the simple things are done... We went to Angiolino on our first night in Florence. My husband and son shared the steak and potato dish that is the Tuscan specialty- it was good without being exceptional. I would not recommend this dish if you are from a country that does great steak as you will most likely be disappointed. I had the red lentil dish... More

This restaurant has great food and an enjoyable atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and the food I had (Osso Bucco) was delicious. Full meal with wine around 50 Euros. Will be back.

Went there today for a invitational business dinner, we had 2kg bistecca al firenze for 3 people, god damn, that was some heavenly meal, but before that, tasting deck of ham and cheeses, bruschettas and whatever you want. Gordon Ramsay would've been proud of that steak, and that says something. Go there! Great, knowledgable staff as well:)

Mike and all of the staff here went out of their way to be sure I had the best meal. It was so good I returned the next night. I told Mike my eating preferences, and he spoke with the chefs, and each night my meal was unique and memorable.

Per my Concierge's recommendation I had an 8:00pm reservation here. Seeing only 4 tables occupied should have been my first sign. The stale bread they served me when I sat down should have made me get up and walk out like the couple next to me would do after one bite of their pasta. The house wine was poured from... More

This restaurant was recommended to us so we arrived with high expectations. The food was good but nothing special. I had the chef suggestion of the risotto with shrimps and artichokes (EUR 16). If you are passing by, stop by.. but I wouldn't go out of my way.
