Very central pub in the centre of old town Florence. Typical layout with the usual beers. Staff were friendly enough, prices quite decent considering the location. Free wifi as usual.

Visit this place, excellent food and drinks! You won't regret it. Peaceful surronding, untypical of Florence.:)

The interior will remind you of Irish pubs - they have Guinness and Kilkenny on draft and football on TV. A very comfortable place for a break during the day with pub food and snacks. It gets busy and fun at night, with young tourists and music.

Old Stove is one of the magnificent pubs we have visited in the heart of Florence... The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Most important is the staff in Old Stove, they are the best ❤️

Had a wonderful evening with my son watching football and drinking local beer. We were just there for the drinks but had wonderful service and a fun couple of hours

One of the oldest pubs in Florence, which means that it's actually pretty new as the English Pub fashion started 20 years or so. Good for beers and watch football!

Situated off the tourist thoroughfare The Old Stove serves a toasted sandwich for €4, Hot Dog for €5 & Pizza for €6. There is no cover charge so seek this on out to save money.

Came here as trip advisor said they played 80's music.....they didn't. 4 drinks were €20 and the atmosphere was a bit desolate. In fairness the city was quiet as it was August and the staff were friendly enough. Down side the shabby toilets (see photo)

A bottle of Menabrea of 33 cl here cost 5 Euro. In the centre of Siena (also a touristic city I paid 3 euros). So, first consideration: here you will not never see a Italian citizen (excepting waiters if they are). In addition they have half pints for 3 euros but they charged us more than that. So, I can... Had the best night, the staff were so fun and friendly! great music a miss of 80s club remixes, and Spanish club which had the whole bar dancing. Great cocktails and beers! Definitely go!

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
