A group of 14 people, 4 families, not easy to handle... especially on a saturday evening.... We had a minor issue on the reservation - immediadely solved with creativity and responsiveness THANKS A LOT! Great food, great appetizers, great main pasta courses and desserts, the...best Fiorentina T-Bone steak we never had (4 steraks = 6 kilos :-) ) But what we should emphasize here is the courtesy and the attention, the focus and the responsiveness of the Team at the Restaurant, especially with Sonia and Pietro always at our table asking to offer support ... Special treatment by the owner Stefano, also often visiting us during thi gerat dinner, to be sure everything was going excellent... A big mistake not to come back soon to taste great food and a great atmosphere and attention to us. Grazie a tutti Paolo e gli altri 13 di TorinoMore

Una simpatica brigata Ci vediamo quando tornerete a Firenze Saluti da tutti Stefano Cambi

We wanted to visit this charming little place since we watched Rick Steves travel guide about Florence. He advertised the Tuscan cuisine very well. If you really wanted to experience a real Tuscan atmosphere, Cambi was your place. The restaurant was place quite far from...the centre. We didn’t have any reservation and we were lucky to get a small table for two inside the restaurant. The whole interior design was very traditional and rustic. Our waitress was truly professional, welcomed us with a great smile and explained all. There was no doubt to try their Bistecca alla Fiorentina. The beef was very tender, juicy and prepared to the perfection. We also had a plate of local cold meat and antipasti, fried tomatoes and zucchini flowers. Their house wine was exceptional too. We spent there a lovely evening, full of memories and the bill was acceptable to the quality and the service. We hope, that one day we will return!More

My favourite bistecca in town! Last time i tried the baccalà which was very good as well, with a very good ‘vino della casa’ at decent price. Staff extremely friendly. Very recommended.

First of all we had a reservation for 9pm we sat down at the table at 9:30. Waitress very unfriendly and disrespectful. We spent a good amount of money and the service was still ridiculous. The apérol spritz were gross and watery. The food is...good quality but nothing special. Steak is normal pasta is normal everything is average but considering the price it was too much.More

My waitress was very nonchalant at best. We asked for a little help on the wine, we received only a little help. Food wise we were left feeling very embarrassed as I ordered a Florentine steak for myself and my wife a grilled fillet. I...didn’t know Florentine steak was designed for two people to share. She bought out 1KG of raw steak for our perusal, to which we said it was too big. When we started to see coupes nodding in agreement to their steaks it dawned on us that it was to share like a Chateaubrand (which we are familiar with). We called her over to clarify, but she acted as if she had no idea what we were talking about. Now we are British so therefore didn’t want to make a fuss but embarrassed in the whole thing just let it go. The food was amazing, the wine was great. The waitress after belittling us warmed and brought herself back from a 1 star review. Overall I think this s a restaurant for local Italians and were maybe irritated by having a tourist there. Clearly we needed help, clearly we needed guidance and she chose not to help us and order an odd selection without clarification as a minimum. It was Valentines night & it was our worst Florence experience in our 4 day trip. On this basis I really can’t recommend.More

Recommended in the booklet in our AirBnB suggested that the Florentine bistecca served here was outstanding so we booked for a celebration meal. It was amazing. The restaurant is lovely, the ambience is wonderful, exactly what was required for a special evening. Our waitress was...super friendly and helpful. The steak brought to our table looked amazing and, at 1.1kg, perfect for the two of us. We ordered a side of spinach and another of artichokes in olive oil, parsley and garlic: wonderful. Despite the unopened bottle of chianti left on the table (and every table!) we opted for a litre of the house chianti: correct decision. Any good restaurant can be gauged on its house wine and this was outstanding. A fabulous meal. The only slight failure was a few burnt cantucci served with our vin santo but our lovely waitress soon changed them but it would have been better had they never been allowed out of the kitchen. No matter, it was a small issue, quickly resolved. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fabulous food in a great setting. I strongly recommend booking in advance; this is a very popular restaurant, no matter what the time.More

After a long day walking about this restaurant is the best that Florence has to offer. The staff are so helpful and recommend lots of lovely things to try. The smoked meats and of course the Tbone were incredible. Don’t order too many starters as...we under estimated how much steak there actually was. The pastas are also divine. Will be returning.More

This is a small local restaurant and where we were seated we could watch the chef preparing various appetizers, etc. They bring 2-3" thick raw steaks to your table for your approval and cut the proscuto right off hocks hanging from the ceiling. It was...a fabulous meal; steak was very rare, so if you don't like that, be sure to tell them ahead of time (they don't ask). Potatoes soooo good and so was the dessert. Very attentive staff. My only negative is the hard stools you sit on...very hard and of course no backs. Maybe outside seating is better?More

Most of the Restaurant is inside but they have a small outdoor patio area. I would suspect they would not allow dogs inside the building, but I have no idea as to the courtyard area. We did not see any dogs accompanying... More
