I read about Tamero on a few different blogs and was so excited to try it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fun and lively without being overpoweringly loud. The music on the night we were there was fantastic as well! Everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious and we loved what we ordered. My husband had Le Donzelle... More

What a great place! I'd call it trendy and funky. There were books lying around, posters advertising events adorned the walls, and there was live music. Everyone seemed to be having a great time-staff and customers alike. Piazza Santo Spiritu is "on the other side" of the Arno, and it's a great place to find a place to eat. The... More

Love the aperitivo, the ambience, their menu as well and the price is very fair! Best dish is the cacio e pepe

This place is the real deal. If you're looking for the ultimate in local cuisine, and off the tourist track, this is the best we found. Amazing food, great traditional Italian atmosphere, and friendly, passionate Italian staff. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the San Frediano area and this was one of the many restaurants in the little Piazza near our B&B. It had been recommended so tried it our first night and absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. Plus, as a bonus, there was live music the night we were there. All the little eateries in the area... More

In my 60+ years I have never had such a tasteless curry - supposed to be a Butter Chicken "Indian dream") First of all the food was totally, absolutely cold. Like it had been sitting on the shelf for 30 minutes. Then when I complained it was simply microwaved and returned. In my experience no decent chef would do that!... More

Dear customer, happy to have had you as our guest I regret that you are getting the Indian Dream - Sliced chicken Tikka Masala with basmati and naan bread tasteless. I was confronted with our chef, who also has a wide and solid experience in Thailand and India, which tells me that it is the Rajasthan curry and the dish... More

This is the most amazing restaurant I have ever been in my life. The quality of the food is superb, with most products, including pasta, being fresh and home-made. We tried pasta with Stuffed boar sauce and Raviolli and both were extremely satisfactory! The former had soft and juicy boar meat accompanied by almonds mixed inside the sauce, whilst the... More

Me and my husband loved this place! It's very local. Service is great (a little slow, but due to the number of people is totally understandable) and food is amazing. You need to order one their fresh pastas! I tried one with shrimp and it was delicious. Also try the Burrada with vegetables (:

Exactly what we were looking for after a week in Italy. A salad and pasta. Shared the salad - delicious. I had the spaghetti with cherry tomatoes. Husband had pici with cheese. Good cocktails. Good wine. Such a cute little piazza and a whole line of restaurants with college kids eating pizza on the church steps.
