We stayed near here and just happened on this place by chance. They have a great variety of authentic traditional slice pizza (rectangular) and they heat it up in front of you and charge by weight. The friendly service is great and the food is inexpensive. Two slices were only a little over 5 euros. My son who is an... More

We just came in because it looked like a budget place. It's a family run business. You can buy pizza for slices or a normal one. 1 pizza per person is quite enough because it's thin (which I love) & it's only €5! Beer & wine served at 2-3€ depending on amount. Pizza was delicious! A perfect place for a... More

We happened to come in here because it was raining and my wife was grumpy as she hadn't eaten. Had a pleasant surprise, local pizza place with old Italians popping in to get takeaways. Pizza is paid for by weight, we had 2 pieces and one Nutella type pizza calzone, two drinks and less than 10 euros.

Popped in here for a pizza slice each with drinks - less than 11 euros. Seemed a great family run place. While the queues for porcetta elsewhere were miles long, we were fed and watered with no complaint! Food really good, well cooked and generous portions.

Nice place for a quick pizza. we had the one with artichoke on it. Tasted great crunchy crust with the right amount of cheese. Not greasy or oily.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
