Very good services and the food is tasty and plenty. At the beginning we were afraid that this restaurant is not a good one but we mistake. Prices are quite ok compared with other restaurants from the aria.

Our first night exploring Florence and a sign on the door caught our eye, followed by a lovely gentleman inviting us in. We had a bit to explore but promised we'd come back. And we are so glad we did! First of all, exceptional service, we felt very welcome and the fact that the manager spoke very good English was... More

We went there for the special Valentine's menu and the server was incredibly friendly and we were very pleased with the food. Excellent flavor and the portions were the right size. We had different options so we could taste everything. The only problem was that the gnocchi were a bit over cooked so they became a bit sticky. But the... More

Was given vegetable soup and baked chicken for dinner. It was so so. Heard many great reviews on this restaurant but not my menu. Maybe should try selecting solo menu rather than group menu.

We were with a tour group and were taken here for lunch in an upstairs dining room. Napoleons sister once lived in this building. Chandeliers, gold tapestry, elegant atmosphere and pure Italian food. We were served vegetarian lasagna followed by a beef dish and vegetables. Incredible surroundings one to remember.

While in Florence, you have to go to Aruba note. Absolutely amazing food & the staff is great. Ask for Fabio! Perfect wine recommendation. Make sure to bring you appetite but save some room for a drink of limoncello and some Tiramisu.

Ruba is one of my favorite spots in florence. For 15 Euro's you can get unlimited wine, 2 pastas and appetizers. The service is good. The food is good and unlimited wine is hard to beat at the price.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
