Our favorite and incredibly low cost restaurant in Florence is Cento Poveri which offers two courses plus wine and mineral water for E10. We were delighted to find the Enotoca il grappolo just a short distance from where we were staying in the north area of Florence. Il grappolo offers first and second courses and dessert for E10. You pay... More

Probably the best choice if you want to try real Florentine cuisine!! Typical traditional dishes and a wide selection of wines. Try "Ossobuco alla Fiorentina " and chocolate cakes.

Good local meal, ok price, nice setting and service but nothing to write home about. Would recommend as we haven't (yet) found anything better in the area of this style.

This place was the best we found when staying in Florence. So good that we revisited twice. The waiter, whom I assume was the owner, was very welcoming, kind and very good with his English. The food was delicious and suitably priced. I would recommend trying the chocolate suffle! There was a lovely ambiance to the restaurant as it was... More

The service was good, but the food lacked flavor. The pasta wasn't fresh, the ragu was really poor, and the wine was below average. However, I appreciate that the service was as good as it was considering I was there eating alone (which is typically frowned upon in many Italian restaurants).

We felt so welcome when we got to the restaurant, that inmediately we felt like we were at home. The guys made sure we weren't missing anything while giving us space. With a small group that wasn't sure what tto eat, and a waiter that has faith on his product, all you have to do, is ask and you will... More

If you are looking for an amazing little restaurant on the outskirts of Florence, then this is it. Claudia and his team are passionate and proud of what they do. The value for money just adds the cherry in the top! Fantastic. We went back 3 times!

We agree with everything HelenJ07 writes in her review, and we are carnivores! Wine choice was fantastic - 90% of the wine offered was DOCG and very well priced. The food was unusual and superb and we would have liked to have been able to go a further time but our itinerary didn't allow this. The owner was pleasant, accommodating... More

We were staying at the Best Western Hotel Villa d'Annunzio and this restaurant is a short 10 minute walk from here and also a short walk from the stadium. This is a gem and we went back again as it had such a lot of menu choices. The restaurant describes itself as Authentic Tuscan atmosphere . It really is local... More
