We landed at this chinese restaurant because we wanted a change from italian cuisine. The food was excellent and the quantities were perfect. Very tasty, different from the usual chinese food one can find everywhere. We will return for sure.

As we wanted to have some asian food and still be in the middle of the city centre. We decided to give II Mandarino a try. The staff was far away from being motivated. And yet, it didnt bother us much. But after we ordered our maincourse, none of the staff felt like telling us more about the ordered dishes... More

Il Mandarino Our only night in Florence and we decided to go to a Chinese restaurant by chance. The top rated ones are all sandwich places so we weren't so excited about going to any of them. We wondered out from our Airbnb apartment to explore the local area (we were staying quite central) and explored the shops and sights... More

Pretty solid Chinese food, coming from an Asian family from the San Francisco Bay Area. We had the pineapple fried rice (good), chicken chop suey (good, fresh mushrooms), chicken with Thai sauce (more brownish in color than an expected red), and a steam fish (super good, fresh too)! The only gripe was that the fish came to the table really... More

Very passable Chinese food, above the average one expects outside of Asia. We shared a sour fish soup, Cantonese fried rice, some deliciously fresh and well-cooked bok choy, and half a Peking duck which -- while not being entirely authentically prepared -- was very tasty indeed. The decor and service was good, and given its high-traffic location the price was... More

We went to this restaurant for a light lunch on a hot sunny day in early July. The reason we choose this restaurant because the interior look clean and the menu look decent. The food was ok, and the portion were very small. What make me wanting to write this feedback was their service. The service was awfully poor, especially... More

Not being a fan of Italian food can't bode well for you if you are traveling in the country for 2 weeks, so I keep trying other cuisines and that is how I landed up here! And what a great decision it was! Located near Palazzo Vechhio, this place not only has a wide fare but turns out a great... More

When the waiter delivering the food, he was talking to another waiter and never looked at us. The noddles was fine even though it was not what we had ordered. The waiter did not explain why until we asked about.

We liked the food, but the service was quite unacceptable. We were three people, 15 minutes passed between the first and the last starter were served. The rice arrived ten minuts before the first main course was served, and the last one had to wait for twenty additional minutes. And we did not order anything special. I do not care... More

Overall great Chinese food and service. Definitely recommend. Cozy atmosphere but good for many occasions. We had delicious dumplings and fantastic main courses.
