I had the lampredotto burger for lunch which I thoroughly enjoyed. The place was a bit busy, and it was not clear how to order the food.

Attended this following recommendation of our apartment owner in Florence. He recommended as the place for the best lampredotto in Florence, and I should agree (although I never tried one before). We liked the food very much. Food and drinks are pretty cheap too. The owner was very friendly. He even came out from behind the counter to talk to... More

A Florentine delicacy that we walked half way across the city for. It is just a little family run food van in a quiet square, friendliest people at a reasonable price. It is also a place that you can see locals visit. Yes it is tripe, but don't be a snob, try it you might be nicely surprised.

This fixed street stand is amazing. All locals. Only thing we tried was "panino con lampredotto" I had the spicy one and my wife and kids none spicy. OMG. @$3.5 euros each, it is not only the cheapest food you can find but the most delicious food I have had since entering Florence! This spot should be in the top... More

was hungry by the time we arrived at Florence's train station. good thing this was walking distance away AND open by 11am. we were the only customers. had the peeled lampredotto sandwich and husband had the lengua. the lengua was actually more flavorful because that animal part was just more flavorful than the lampredotto. sandwiches here are much cheaper than... Can't believe all the times I've visited Florence and just discovered this place, about a block from where I'm staying. The Lampredotto sandwich makes it well worth the trek across the river. Simply cross the Arno at the Vespucci Bridge and continue straight ahead for about 150 meters and you'll literally run right into the place. 3 euros and you'll... More
