If you like to pay for the view from upstairs, then by all means. Don't come here, very expensive and the gelato I had was very sweet. We had 1 crossant, 1 small gate, 1 cappuccino, 1 Red Bull, $20 euros.

Precooked pizzas, slowness, unfriendly waiters,... Go away. None should eat in a place like this one.

They charged 17 euro for two coffees and one dessert. We asked the waiter why was so expensive even when the price is stated on the wall and he replied: because of the service. Ruined my day!

This "caffe" is the most horrible, terrible place I have ever been. Went in with friends for a coffee and snack after a day of exploring. They pressured us into ordering and told us the prices of the items we ordered were on the board. Cappuccino 1.40 euro - we were charged 4.50 per drink. After being informed the cakes... More

Don't waste your money. Prices advertised on the wall are misleading and incorrect. I bought a croissant and small cappuccino. The croissant had a hair on it, and when I asked for a new one they gave me the same one again and tried to charge me for two. Staff were rude and unwelcoming. Wish we read reviews and avoided.

So we would also usually check trip adviser before going into places but as we only wanted a hot drink and cake we didn't bother to read reviews. Little did we know that we would be so ripped off with such expensive prices for a drink and cake that didn't taste good. There are other places to go...I wouldn't recommend... More

As this restaurant is on the corner just after the bridge it appears to be a prime location, i usually check reviews of places before visiting but unfortunately on this occasion as we were on the move we decided to go in and get a small lunch. As soon as you enter you are pressed to make a decision before... More

Avoid! I wish I had read reviews before I went in here. Staff our horrible, 2 x soup, 2 x water and 1 tea €28.00 soup was vile. Salty water with horrible veg and no flavour. €9 each and horrible. Great location that's why people get caught. They should be stopped as they do not give an good impression for... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
