I was in Florence last week and found this place after visiting Pitti palace. The food was amazing! We ate very delicious bruschetta with really tasty pasta. Worth visiting! The service was superb!

We stayed near here and looked forward to eating here on our last night in Florence. It was worth the wait. It was evening-time but a warm enough evening; so we ate in the 'secret garden.' This was romantic and refreshing. We were served a large basket of foccacia bread with homemade apple balsamic (to die for) and olive oil.... More

Nice ambience, friendly and buzzy, but the food only average - I had an osso buco which was over-salted and heavy

I went there at the suggestion of an Italian friend and I did not regret it. Typical Italian restaurant. Delicious bread, wine made by them super tasty and the food wonderful! Great service! Much more cheaper than the restaurants for tourists.

Had a great meal here. The vegetable soup (zuppa di verdura) was to die for, as is frequently the case anywhere in Tuscany. Risotto with porcini mushrooms was cooked perfectly. And Pollo de Arrabiatta had a slightly spicy wonderfully light and fresh taste and texture. Good service too.

We found this on the off chance and glad we did, this place has the best olive oil, home balsamic and Focaccia bread in Florence, we were offered the garden seats great service, backed up by an equally by far the best lasagne I had eaten all holiday, as others say a little gem.

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
