If you are into wines take the time to drop in and visit Alessi. It has a huge cellar in the basement, what an experience just seeing thousand different types of wines. Upstairs it carries all types of alcohol, grappa, balsamics and olive oils.

The setting is very nice and the cellar is amazing. The selection of alcohol in the shop is really impressive, one of the biggest we ve ever seen. This wine bar is excellent for a break after the visit of the Duomo and Cupola. Good...More

A few days ago, I needed to buy a present for a dear friend, and went to Alessi looking for expert advice on malts. At first, they tried to steer me on more expensive items, then, they suggested and had me try a brand I...More

This place has a great little wine tasting (and spirits) menu- a great introduction to local wines at a reasonable price. They have a great wine cellar so you can take them home. Wish we had found it on our first day rather than the...More

We popped into this place right after climbing the Duomo. Looked good because it wasn't your typical looking touristy joint. It was a great choice. The staff was super friendly and accommodated our group of five quickly. We ordered the XL board of meat, cheese...More

My wife and I stopped in here for a drink. The drinks were great, the staff was terrible and completely ruined our experience. Do NOT go here - if you do, you will regret it.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
