Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For American or Western European travelers, this place can be a sort of safe haven to any over-stimulated or homesick person. Truly good atmosphere, cheap drinks and food so good and true to home that you’ll want to commit an unforgivable act on the side...of building.More

We visited Dublin pub a couple of times during the day and it was a nice experience, good music, good beers, good food. However we went there as a couple later in the evening and the music was more intense and dark, not pub like...at all. After a couple of beers and a couple of Negroni’s the bartender brought me 2 more Negroni’s that I had not ordered and said, “we made you 2 more Negroni’s” I found this unusual, knowing I had not ordered them, but feeling compelled to help them out decided I would accept one of the two, despite already having an almost full one in front of me. One does not rush a Negroni. I have little memory of the remaining portion of the evening. Our bill was €240 and we can only account for less than half of this. This could not have happened without the assistance of someone working at the establishment. In the morning I was very ill and unable to leave the hotel room. I am a seasoned drinker and I have stepped through many hangovers, but this was very different. We are also seasoned travelers and it is a defining point to me that there are predators everywhere. Take this to heart and be careful.More

I spent the end of every one of my 8 nights in Florence here. You will not find Irish waitresses and bartenders here, but you will find the spirit and the drink of the Isle! The World Cup was going on while we were in...town, and the mix of people and cultures here was just fun led by Italians being themselves, while enjoying the craic. Also a great whisky selection, as the owners love it as much as I do!More

Too expensive for an OK pub as such. The choice of alcohol is also so-so. You’re better off drinking in a trattoria, rather than here

Charged 6 euros for a tonic. About as Irish as my ar*e. Go to Brewdog a few doors away. And I don't want to waste more time writing a minimum of 100 words to say this TripAdvisor!

I like wheat beer and the other half loves Guinness so this is always a convenient stop over after a long day of touristy stuff. Location is perfect. The staff are friendly enough.

I stopped in while I was washing clothes down the street. The beer was cold, the WiFi worked, and the music was not offensively loud. (It was a plus if you enjoy rock.) Prices are clearly written next to the bar so no surprises there....Services was fine.More

This little pub is very much off the beaten path. We think it’s a local hangout but they treated us very well. Gus git his Guinness and I a Wuisse beer. We ordered fish and chips. What a surprise. Some of the best French fries...ever. They were shaped like a potato chip but thick like a French fry. Cooked perfectly and not greasy. The fish was lightly breaded and very nice. A pleasant surprise and inexpensive.More

Awful place and people, do not waste your money here as they clearly don't like tourists or foreigners. I feel very upset by how I was treated here. Not an Irish pub, just a rip off.

Florence was our girls annual trip location this year and after walking miles sight seeing around this beautiful city, we stopped in the Dublin pub for a quick drink on the way back to our hotel. Let’s just say, we were made to feel welcome...and the Guinness wasn’t too bad either. Following a lovely meal later that evening, a few of us decided to drop back into the bar. What a great atmosphere with people from all over. We had such a great time, we did end up staying hours, staff were really friendly, the music was awesome. If we hadn’t had such an early morning flight, we would’ve definitely gone back for our last night. Would highly recommend. Thank you, keep up the good work 👍🏻More

Make sure you check the price list before you order..... €12 for a G&T really isn’t worth it. It’s not ‘Irish’ in the slightest. What a shame because if they weren’t so greedy it could be a great bar.

Not really an Irish pub, better than JJ Cathedral but that isn’t exactly a ccompliment. At least their toilet isn’t a hole in the ground, not much else to recommend it.
