Great experience! A wonderful change of pace restaurant in Florence. The service was great! Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of the food and beverage offerings. We're from Texas, and the pulled pork sandwich and "The Usual" hamburger were as good as any that we've had. We also enjoyed the fried pickles which were served with a wonderful sauce. Great draft beer options. Music was lively classic rock from the United States, and Nicolò, one of the owners, sang along while he waited on us. Portions were large, and great value for the prices. Atmosphere is fun, a very nice upscale pub. Sarah and Nicolò have come up with a gem! I'm glad that their restaurant has survived the pandemic, and we plan to return before we leave Florence.

If you want a break from Italian food and are craving top notch American burgers or sandwiches, you HAVE to go here. 80’s rock music playing in a cozy out of the way setting with a really cool owner, bartender, server. We absolutely loved this place.

We stopped in at Djaria in a last minute decision because we wanted more “pub” style food. The burgers and fries Mac n cheese were excellent and the beer was delicious. The husband and wife team are really what makes this place shine. They were very helpful with recommendations on other places to eat in the area as well. Overall, we would definitely return for great food, beer, and company!

After nearly two weeks of wonderful Italian cuisine we needed a jolt of American food. This was not only an oasis of American food but a fun bar with so much character. Being from Alabama, it was ironic the song playing upon our arrival was “Sweet Home Alabama.” The bartender was fun and so was one of the owners (she’s from NJ). I had the buffalo wings and my wife had the burger and fries…not only welcomed but food was off the chart’s awesome. Very good beer selection too! A fun and memorable highlight in Florence.

Sometimes when I’m on a 6-8 week run in the EU, there are two consumables I really crave, a brilliant old fashioned and a Jimmy Buffet cheeseburger. Sarah and Nicholas over deliver these on both fronts. Combine that with wonderful personalities and a great venue and you have a reason to stay and return . Thanks for putting a little North America into one of my favourite European cities! Bravo

Small place but it exudes crazy energy. You are greeted with real smiles, without forcing, and you immediately understand that you will leave satisfied.
The menu is not distracting and the kitchen's proposals are extremely intelligent. A precise line is maintained, without the need to overdo it for fear of not being able to please all palates. The burgers are all offered in 3 variations: beef, buffalo and bison.
Obviously, everything is made by them with the exception of a few trifles, such as the ketchup and mayonnaise that they bring you together with the potatoes (EXCELLENT, one of the few places that prepares them properly).
They know how to do their job with great awareness.
Then a universe opens up as far as drinks are concerned: a rich and very "fun" menu, which piques the curiosity of even those who know less about it. Local and non-local products, carefully recommended based on your "mood".
There is an engaging passion, which inevitably reflects on everything served. One of the gems that Florence must be proud of.
If you arrive by car, with a bit of luck you can leave it near Piazza Tasso and walk a few hundred meters. If you are in the center it can still be reached with a pleasant 15 minute walk.
The prices are absolutely in line with what is offered.
Thanks for your work guys. Personally I will go back again and again!

As a American traveler sometimes I need a break from the local cuisine and need a taste of home. Djària offer this in Spades. Owners Nicólo and Sarah have put together a fantastic restaurant for any and all Burger and Cocktails lovers. The Djària Old Fashion is out of the world by far the best I've ever had. The Buffalo wings are super tasty 😋 and The Burgers are a must I mean take you pick of any of them and you can't go wrong. Will visit evrytime I'm in Frienze.

After nearly a week of some variation of pasta in Rome, we all craved something different! On our first night in Florence, we booked at Djaria American Bar and had a delicious meal. The couple who own and run the restaurant/bar could not have been nicer and the food was amazing. From the fried macaroni and cheese to the burgers (I had the one with spiced peanut butter and bacon) to the French fries (best ever!) and the brownie a la mode, it was a wonderful meal.

If you fancy a break from Italian food or just really crave a decent burger, this is the place to be! High quality ingredients, new combinations and specials outside of the menu. Nico and Sarah are amazing hosts who really care about what they're doing. Let Nico make you one of his own special drinks and you will not be disappointed!

The burgers are simply probably the best I've ever had. They're simple, tasty, the meat's cleanliness, juiciness, and taste, has no equal. I highly advise following either of the owner's recommendations in type of meat and cooking time. Unless you really can't stand to have it any different, do not get your meat well done!

A friend recommended this little American corner to me in the Santo Spirito area. At first I was hesitant due to the location being difficult to reach and small in size, but believe me... it's really worth it. The guys are very welcoming and nice. The food is delicious and the cocktails are special and of high quality. A small corner of happiness for the taste buds. I highly recommend it.

After a month in Europe, my daughter was craving good ol’ American Brew Pub food and we were thrilled to find Djaria! Our burger was the best quality beef and cooked perfectly. The fries were great. The Mac n cheese balls were perfect (careful, scalding hot inside.) I had an Italian “black IPA “ that was awesome. The cocktails were a highlight too. The owner/bartender takes pride in handcrafting beautiful and delicious cocktails. We returned the next night for another beer and cocktail, so obviously we loved it.

I grew up in Buffalo and have had many wings and ribs, Sarah's,at the American Bar, were some of the best I've ever eaten. She is welcoming and a fun hostess and cook. The food is fresh and hand made by her. I highly recommend The American Bar. I only wish we found it sooner!

I've known Djària for a while and talking about him with my friends we discovered that we all know him. We went for dinner, we had the delicious sandwiches super stuffed with really excellent bison meat with french fries as a side dish and the delicious cheesecake that melts in your mouth. All accompanied by super particular and refined cocktails. Nicolò and Sarah were very nice and super helpful.
