This restaurant is situated out of the city center in a residential area near the Leopolda station. It is a pretty place with a bucolic atmosphere. They offer both meat and fish and a selection of local delicatessen. We had different choices (were in 10) and shared some plates. The quality of the meat was surpisingly low, and portions a... You can tell when a resteraunt is good when it is full of men after mamas cooking. I started with a Tuscany meat starter followed by a beef green pepper stew. Absolutely delicious. Food good vino good, also cheap... No more needs to be said. Top joint.

We got advised to the restaurant from our hotel, as we just wanted to find a good place to eat nearby. We were positively surprised by the atmosphere and food - the starters were excellent and the main courses ok. It was nice that the typical, local dishes were clearly marked in the menu. The owner was really nice and... More

Good food at this restaurant but particular members of staff we found to be quite rude. We requested coffee which did not arrive, then we asked 3 times for the bill, eventually a gentleman, who we assumed was the Chef asked if everything was alright, we explained that the bill still had not arrived, we eventully got out of the... We found it also very helpful that highlighted traditional Tuscan food on the menu. It was delicious and the waiter gave an excellent service! we returned before we left it was that good!

It was late and we were on the prowl for dinner. We stumbled upon this place which was fortunately still open. It was pretty quiet - maybe only 3 or 4 other tables were occupied. The food was good and the service was prompt. Reasonably priced and everything tasted pretty fresh.

We found this little gem on Trip Advisor. A small restaurant with a great menu. Staff were very kind and spoke enough English to get along. Wine was lovely, food was amazing! For starters, we shared a dip and meat plate and a sausage and truffle mix on toasted bread. For mains, I had a mushroom ragu and my husband... More

Got recommended this place but don’t know what the hype was about, just didn’t like the style. Restaurant location is a little hidden but it definitely wasn’t a ‘hidden gem’. My wife and I thought it was one of the worst and over-priced meals we had in Europe. The waitress seemed to speak good English so I asked if some... More

On our first day in Florence, we asked the owner of hotel Villa Aruch where we should eat and he recommended this place. He said that's his friend's restaurant so he knows for sure how the food is cooked and it is really good... As we didn't really had time to check around on for other options so we just... More

Despite this restaurant looking somewhat closed, we were happily welcomed by the waiter/owner. We chose an all inclusive menu for €20 per person which included appetisers of meat and bread with an amazing pesto-like topping. Entree was amazing, fresh, flavoursome fettuccine. It had a hint of chilli but was incredible! Main was a sausage and bean casserole served with spinach.... More
