The beef steak is higher recommended ! One of the best in Florence! The price is very reasonable and the service is great.

Sought out Palle d'Oro on the back of TA reviews and it didn't disappoint. Rustic, no frills decor, great food, friendly & efficient service, all at a reasonable price. My only disappointment was that it was closed when I went back for more of the same. There's lots of great food to be had in Florence and this was my... More
Each time we return to Firenze we eat at Palle d'oro at least twice. The food is fresh, authentic trattoria food. Great choice of fresh pasta and meat courses. It is well patronised by the locals rather than being a tourist venue because of the excellent quality of the food. The owner is the third or fourth generation and his... More
This is a hidden gem amongst the busy San Lorenzo market. Once you've haggled over a handbag try a spot of lunch in here with a glass of the vino Di Casa. This is my favourite restaurant in Florence. Get there early for lunch as there is a queue by 1pm
My wife and I had dinner twice at this trattoria during our week's stay in Florence last week. It was recommended by our hotel and we do not regret at all taking up the advice, so much so that we returned a second time and would have gone for a third time had it not been closed on Sunday. The... More
I spent about three hours here, with friends, on our first night in Firenze. Our hosts being friendly, helpful and accomodating of our attempts at ordering our meals in Italian were fantastic. Starting with the Antipasto then the Primo followed by the Secondo with Contorno accompanied by a couple bottles of local red wine and a complimentary Limoncello. All of... More
This place is a mad house with both the locals and tourists. There is an eating bar in the front and two "back" rooms. We have eaten here several times. Had good experiences and some just mediocre. My husband loves the place. Me, not so much. Went twice this time and I had Tortelli with butter and sage, husband had... More
We ate here both nights and they didn't disappoint on either... Lovely setting and staff... The food was also fantastic... my friends loved their steak... I managed to order in Italian but they spoke perfectly good English for when needed... They were very friendly to us and gave us complimentary Limoncello at the end of the night and shook our... More
We were recommended this Trattoria by our tour guide after finishing a one day Tuscany tour. No regret is finding as it was just minutes away from the hotel we stayed. We had to wait for a while as there was few tables waiting for their dinner. The pasta dish (spinach ravioli) came out hot and it was perfectly delicious.
We had just finished our Tuscany tour at the train station and wanted a place for a lite dinner around 10 pm. Our tour guide recommended Palle Doro, a 5 minute walk from the train station. Great recommend. English was not a problem. One of our members had dairy issues and they handled with ease. Another brought their unoaked wine... More
