The place is not up to any scale, it's probably worse than the restaurants in the square. The waiter was rude and was yelling back and forth between the kitchen and our table. Absolutely rude and just threw down plates. The food tasted mostly frozen and re heated, you would be better served at chucky cheese than this place. Save... More

We went there with friends for dinner, during our visit to Florence. We were left totally disappointed by the slow, ironic and almost rude waitor! I would only rate this place with 2 stars for the quality of the food, which was tasty and in accordance with their, relatively low prices. The worst thing of all came to the end,... More

We enjoyed an absolutely AMAZING dinner. I would not hesitate to recommend this delicious trattoria to anyone. Knowing full well they will be pleased with their meals! Thanks to Johnny and the owner for a great evening. We will be back this week, for certain.

I went here with my mum for dinner. She is vegetarian and had plenty of choice. The house red wine was light, local and very drinkable. Our food was delicious, fresh and beautifully simple as Italian food should be. The tiramissu is really really good, with little soft uneven bits of mascapone where it's been mixed just enough, but so... More

Few steps from the bronze hog you you are supposed to touch to have good luck, this small "trattoria" can be a good option among the dozens of restaurants, bars, fast food etc etc you can find in the historic downtown. Menu features dishes of the tuscan tradition, portions are big enough to satisfy your appetite after a morning of... More

We ate here on our last night, we like to eat at local smaller restaurants and were glad we did. As in everywhere we ate I had bruschetta to start and this was the nicest one of our trip, tomatoes were so sweet, also had the tuscan tomato soup-that was so thick it was more like risotto than soup. We... More

The trattoria seemed inviting and for once we didn't want to use Tripadvisor before entering. We should have done since the spaghetti were not well done and too salty. The dessert was ok, the house wine good. Next time we'll use our trusted source of information again. Life's too short for unnecessary disappointment.

We ate here for lunch and were impressed by the flavors and novelty of what we had ordered. One of the dishes I had was a pumpkin soup with balsamic vinegar and cheese: a mix of ingredients that worked beautifully. Old school cooking and flavorful. Lovely small watercolors and a few "oldish" oils embellish the walls. Service was attentive.

This is a regular visit for us. Lunch specials are always good and in the off season the staff have more time to chat. Last time they gave us some extremely fresh green olive oil to try. A great wine selection here.

I ate here for lunch last week after visiting Florence many times and walking right by this restaurant. I had the chinghiale and trippa and it was A+. The staff was great. I had A tiramisu and grapa afterwards. I'll be back here for sure.
