It seems like you can reserve for 730 or 915. They do two groups of people per night. We called ahead not sure if that is necessary. I had the pasta with duck sauce and it was amazing as well as artichokes. Red house wine was good as well, not a big wino so I always get the house option... More

When I used to dream of Italian food this is what i imagined it to be! This is a unique place so booking is definitely recommended otherwise you may have to wait. Now. Everything is in Italian and there is no English menu. Why? Because you're in Italy!! We were trying with the limited words we had picked up plus... More

We ate here six times on our recent stay in Florence, We enjoyed the food immensely, we were pleased that there was an English version of the Menu as it made ordering easier. As this is a small Osteria, it is essential to book and you must be prepared to share a table, we had excellent companions on each occasion... More

This restaurant has been around for a long time and has a well deserved reputation. It is run by the owners and sons. The tables are cramped and the locale is small. There are only about 10 tables. The food is classic Tuscan fare, and is fresh and simple. It is much loved by tourists spilling over from the Piazza... More

Just returned from this restaurant, had to book the day before as so popular. Chose to take the 7.30 sitting as they fit two sittings in a night but this was ample time to enjoy our meal. Menu was handwritten and changes frequently. We chose a prosciutto starter to share and fresh pasta dishes for main. All were to die... More

Excellent food. Great service. The lamb chop was outstanding but need to have reservation as this place is small but very popular. We were there for the first time on a Saturday and we made reservations to eat there again on the following Monday even before the " second plates" arrived. Five Stars all the way.

This was our 4th restaurant in Florence and the best by a good distance. Tucked in a side alley off a main square, you have to look for this place. It was full of locals, Americans and various tourists last night. It's certainly on the small side. In fact, I would advise a table right in side and away from... More
