The dough is just a dream! I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, even though its not very cosy. Pizza was super good and we are going to come back!

Small, cozy restaurant with a great ambiance. The homemade bread is as good as we have ever eaten. The staff is very accomodating. Not only do we recommend asking for Claudia, but also follow her suggestions. High quality food. We will definitely return.

We went to Il Vico del Carmine while staying nearby with my family. Fun place, it recreates a small street ("Vicolo") of Naples and it gives something to look at while waiting for the food. Service was nice and attentive, although it was very very busy when we went so the waiter needed some reminding that night. It can be... More

We dropped in in search of a caprese salad which was not on the menu but they put one together on the fly. It was delicious as was the wood fired calzone. Not too fluent in English but we had a great meal. Do stop in here.

This is one of the best pizzeria in Florence where you can taste a great pizza. Nice environment and honest prices. Wide beer and wine list.

This pizzeria is a bit expensive compared to other ones in Florence but they have the best Neapolitan pizza in town by far! If you go here try one of their pizzas (don't waste time ordering fish or whichever food different than pizza) and one of their desserts (I suggest the delicious handmade Torta Caprese).

We stumbled across Vico del Carmine thanks to a recommendation from our AirBNB host. Fantastic pizza! I would recommend getting a reservation on a busy weekend night. They were packed, but thankfully able to squeeze us in. Our pizzas were simple but the flavors were perfect. We were also introduced to hot pepper oil, the perfect compliment to any pizza.... More

Friendly welcoming service. Nice venue. Average pizza. Not a lot of toppings. The salami was flavourless. I've had better cheaper pizza in central London.

Nice traditional pizza! The Vesuvius pizza is amazing! The staff is nice and the waiting time is about 20 minutes for the main course! Also try the bruschetta! Delicious
