The line was long, the price was fair, but man, the sandwich was disappointing. We got two sandwiches and both had the same issue. They were loaded with toppings but, everything was bland. The bread had no flavor and overall just not a great experience.

Waiting for nothing…. We ordered 2 different sandwiches of the “top 5” of the menu, we couldn’t eaten… we only bite ones and after we throw it in the bin … The bread was like a stone and cold… Don’t go there if you are...hungry.More

Walking down the street and I smelled truffles. Looked around the saw a guy eating a massive sandwich while walking… it looked amazing and I wanted one. Kept going to the river and the smell hit again… 5 or 6 other people were holding the...same looking sandwich. Finally found the place and there’s two different locations (one on each side of the street). Menu is in Italian but the cashiers will help if you need translation. I waited in line for 10 mins and ordered THE BOSS. Best sandwich I’ve had in my life! Mine had truffle cream, arugula, prosciutto crudo and pecorino cheese. Go here.More

Pretty meh. I ordered la summer. Thought it was going to be amazing considering i waited 45minutes in line. Bread was cold, sandwich was dry/stale, cheese was cold, and the prosciutto was meh. Maybe i ordered the wrong sandwich and should have gone with favorosa....Pretty disappointed. I think it is mostly tourists in line. They herd you like sheeps into 3 lines. Had better sandwiches at the central florence market.More

THIS IS A MUST! The lines are long but they go REALLY fast. And so worth the wait. We even went twice. Best paninis we’ve ever had! Literally every single one was delicious!!

Overhyped. bread was stale. Filling was quite delicious but not as good as expected. Still worth a try because literally hundreds of tourists are having it and you shouldn’t miss a chance.

This place is clearly getting by on its reputation. The bread was like chewing leather, and the porchetta was of poor quality. I give them credit for moving the lines along rapidly, but that's about it - the food (the most important thing) was *extremely*...disappointing and certainly does not live up to the hype.More

Food was good but not worth standing in a long line for. I was able to go in the morning so there weren't a lot of people yet. Staff wasn't really friendly, had kind of an "oh, another tourist that doesn't speak Italian" kind of...attitude.More

We walked past here several times and there were always long lines, so we assumed the panini must be really spectacular ... we eventually got one to share, and were a bit disappointed. The ingredients were fresh, but the bread was definitely too dry for...a panino. The seasoning was okay, but a bit on the bland side. However, the service was nice and the price was fair. We got the feeling that this place must have been great when it first opened, but probably got ruined by the hype because the staff have to work too fast ..More

The line was enormous (we waited more than 20min), but it was worth it. The sandwiches were very good, but we had bigger expectations. It was pricey tough. We recommend "La Summer".

I paid cash, don’t know if they take cards. As their mammoth sandwiches are only euro5 a whack you probably won’t need a card !
