I hate to rate this so high because I don't want everyone to know about it! Love this spot. Unreal views. Unreal food. Unreal staff.

One of the highest points of our trip was this trattoria, which is located at cortona's main square. Creative options, good price and very tasteful!

We stayed in Cortona for 8 nights, eating our way through the restaurants that our daughter favored during her semester studying there. This was my favorite. We had 6 people in our family. Each person ordered a primi and secundi course. I sampled every one and every bite was wonderful Get the truffle rissoto and the steak dish....they brought us... More

Probably they had some bad day. Food was good, but at home you can make the same. There are better places in Cortona to eat.

What a beautiful setting. My wife and I had dinner here one evening while staying a week in Cortona. We were on the early side since locals don't seem to go out till 8:00 or so. The food and service were great, but the dining room was exceptional.

We ate here twice and we really enjoyed the experience. Most restaurants in Cortona had stopped serving food by 6pm so we were thrilled to find this place. It wasn't warm enough to eat outdoors so we ate downstairs in the warm and cozy grotto. Lots of food choices, excellent service and good prices.

We loved this place. I am a vegetarian and was very pleased to find that they had a separate vegetarian menu, although even the regular menu has a lot of veggie options. The menu includes very creative cuisine, beyond that which you typically find in an Italian restaurant. I had beet soup (there was a number of great soup choices)... More

Stopped here for lunch. The gnocchi were the best we've had in Italy. Great service. House wine was nice over lunch. Ate outside in the piazza and enjoyed the view but inside looked lovely.

This restaurant deep in a cave off the Piazza Signorelli in Cortona was a delight, both for the ambiance and the food. The stone walls and sconce lighting creates a warm, intimate dining experience without feeling crowded. Service was attentive and responsive, tho some courses were served out of sync diner-to-diner; I assume this was a function of the kitchen... More

We allure you with our elegant and stunning atmosphere but the food is why you won't want to leave! Traditional and seasonal dishes here mix with innovative and exiting ideas. Everything we do originates from the personal passion of the owner and the cook! Starting from the variety of game to fresh truffle. From the home made pasta to the home made cakes. Even the coffee is the very best: we are the proud owners of the only traditional steam coffe-machine in the area. As Maurizio (the owner) is also a sommelier his passion spreads of course also to the wine menu. If this wasn't enough Maurizio also e enjoys making his very own spirits of which you'll find a wide selection here.
