Cortona on a Sunday is a busy place and we stumbled across this little gem. Delightful ambiance and a lovely server. The pasta dishes were nice but not fabulous with large portions....The steak was outstanding!

location is a bit out of the way - relative to other places in the touristic city center - in that it is somewhat-hidden on a small downsloping side street. that was exactly why we went - very few other people to contend with. and...More

Easter day is not an easy one to find a place to eat in Cortona. We got there the day before and were lucky enough to find the last table available at Bottega dell'Oste, a place we know well from before and where we are...More

Service was nice, but the food quality was quite low. We had an antipasto plate with mixed salumi and cheese and pasta with tartufo as well as with funghi porcini. We wouldn't go there another time.
This restaurant is not hard to find, but it is a little off of Cortona's beaten path. We dined here on the strength of other Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We sat at one of the small, terraced tables across the narrow street...More
I write this one month after we ate at La Bottega Dell'Oste. I wanted to give my thoughts time to age; I did not want to be overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the moment. Recently we spent nineteen days in Italy, including one week in...More
I am surprised that I don't see more recent, positive reviews of this restaurant. We walked by during the day and the menu looked interesting and the setting really special. It is on a side road off of the Piazza Signorelli on corner with pretty...More
