Our guide book suggested this for value and excellent pizza. On both counts it was smack on. The best news is that it is tucked away in a courtyard far from the madding crowds. Loved it!

The food was good, but not special, but I was discussing a side order and they suggested some vegetables. I thought this would cost €4 or so, but it turned out to be a starter costing €11.

Excellent antipasti (Meats, cheeses, bread, eggplant dishes, fried cheese, etc). Delicious primi (pasta Norma and other options), incredible polpettine (meatballs) of sausage wrapped in crisp lemon leaf. Cannolli that were superb. No complaints! All 25+ LOVED the meal and €35/pp was an incredible deal. The service was top notch and attentive, even for such a large group. Will definitely be back.... More

This place was recommended in our guidebook, so we wanted to try it. While it wasn't bad, the pizza was nothing special.

We meant to go last night for pizza and Rosso but somehow went in the wrong door to a very upmarket place (which we enjoyed). But after a big walk to Island Bella we made sure we stopped for lunch and had a great pizza beer and wine at right price. Enjoyed the meal and the few tables in our... More

We came late in the evening and were already a bit tired, so we just had a quick pizza. The pizza was good, but we had better.

We visited about 9.30 pm - not too busy and nice in the street tables (car free). proper wood fired pizza which was probably the best we had in sicily (where we found a lot of pizza to be quite mediocre). The waitress we had was attentive and friendly but the man looked like he had had quite enough of... More
