Remarkable service, smiling and efficient, and seafood prepared to perfection.
The appetizers were stunning and the tuna was impeccably cooked.
The wine list is extensive and should satisfy the most discerning.
Al Paladino is simply a must.
Had a great meal here! Delicious tartare for starter and a lovely fresh fish for main. Great dessert. Service excellent too. We will definitely return. I would have liked a slower pace, but the food was great.

The pasta is a type of long macaroni.
It consists of tube-shaped shells of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet, creamy filling usually containing ricotta.More
We visited this restaurant last night. What a fabulous meal, we both had soup to start, my mushroom was so tasty and the OH had the vegetable which was more like a stew with the amount of veg in it. To follow my pasta with...scampi and courgette flowers was lovely and the steak he had was a triumph. Service was very good and friendly an all round lovely evening.More
Great place to eat. I had Prawn/sea food/pasta. Delicious! There was no bother about the late timing and I congratulated the chef when he popped outside after finishing for the night! i have to say the standard of the food was very good and cooked...to perfection.More
We found this place down a side street and thought we would give it a try. Nice people, great starters of local meats and cheeses then rissotto to follow all at a very reasonable price (for Taormina) The wine was also excellent so well reccomended.
So pleased we returned 3 times to try different things.
Tucked down a side alley eating outside.
My wife is gluten intolerant so finding a menu to suit is not always easy.
Excellent display of fresh fish.
Warm and welcoming staff.
It's not fine dining,...just good and enjoyable. What more could you ask for.More
The service was unacceptably slow and overall very poor. We waited an hour for a bread basket and an hour and a half for an antipasto plate. When we complained to the waiter, he simply replied that it was the kitchen's fault.
I was beyond...underwhelmed.More
I literally registered on trip advisor just to warn others not to eat at this place. We were 4 people dining at this restaurant and only one of the dishes was acceptable. The others lacked any taste. However, the worst part was that my partner...got sick from the stake dish served. On top of that, my seafood salad (which was only seafood, no salad involved whatsoever) was over cooked. When the waiter asked if everything was fine, we explained that the squid and octopus was overcooked as it was not possible to chew it. Then another waiter came and asked again if everything was good, and we explained again that it was overcooked. To which, she replied that the octopus is very fresh and that is why it is so chewy (anyone who knows a little about food, knows that octopus should not be chewy as rubber). We were ok with that and let it be. However, minutes later the chef himself came to our table with a dish of uncut fresh octopuses showing us that it is fresh. We politely explained again that we do not doubt the freshness of the food, we are just saying for the next people that it has been overcooked. We asked how long did he cook the squid and octopus. He replied that the squid was cooked for 4-5minutes and the octopus for 25 minutes (which is waaaaaay too much). Instead of just apologising for the bad experience, they just kept defending that this is how the food should be.
They concentrate on making their dishes look pretty, but the taste is just not there. The place is also rather expensive, considering the poor quality. Since it is located on the main street, they do not have to bother about the quality as they will always catch new tourists coming in. My advice, in Italy always search for Trattoria, not a restaurant if you want your food to taste decent.More
