We stumbled onto this gem. Have the cavatelli with swordfish, fennel, roe. It's divine! Great service and wine. Reasonably priced.

There were 4 of us for a 7.30 dinner. We were welcomed nicely by the staff - and the owner/chef who took time to explain some of the menu items. After that, it went downhill. The decor is quite chic - but the whole place is nothing but hard surfaces so that the sound bounces off the walls and floor.... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel, and we were not disappointed. I ordered the mixed grill and was served with the most enormous platter of perfectly grilled meats. My wife had a beautifully tender, melt-in- the-mouth stinco maiale. The place is run by a lovely couple, and the chef came out to check that everything was all right. Good,... More

Choose from indoor or outdoor eating if you are lucky enough to get a table. It was extremely busy even on a wet night. Heavy-duty umbrellas shelter one if eating outside. There is a wide seafood menu. The mixed seafood was scrumptious followed by sea bass with almond crust and grilled mackeral with tomato. Cooked to perfection for us both.

Came here with the group of 19 people for welcome dinner to sample authentic Sicilian food on a recommendation from our guide. She was right. This was one of the best meals I've ever had! The food was simple yet well-balanced, with premium ingredients well cooked. I highly recommend the citrus salad, pasta with swordfish, Seabass almandine, eggplant Ragu, and,... More

On the strength of a half dozen visits, I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation. The service is attentive, the food is prepared very well and the wine card is interesting. The octopus salad as a starter is praiseworthy, and all of the secondi piatti were also delicious. It would be best to make a reservation for the evening.

We really didn't give this restaurant a proper chance...we had barely 45 minutes to lunch before getting our transport to the airport. Yet they managed two full courses: a shared tasty caponata and two pasta dishes within the time without us feeling rushed at all. What we sampled was very tasty and modestly priced. I wish we had been able... More

Wonderful lunch and really fresh seafood - well worth the price - from this great family run Locanda.

Had dinner last night. Lovely service and very good food. Apps of octopus, caponata in profiteroles, and braised pumpkin were fabulous. Cavatelli alla Norma was good, as was cavatelli with swordfish and tuna roe (tuna roe was a little strong). Sea bass filet in sliced almonds was very good. Had a bottle of 2009 Nero d'Avola which was very nice.... More

I loved the menu tor this place, so many dishes that I wanted to try, slight variations on traditional Sicillian food. It was a Monday night in September so was quiet. I had Choux balls with caponata inside, which although tasty didn't quite match what I had imagined from the description on the menu. It was followed by fish which... More
