The Palazzo Trabucco looks nice with its petunia-filled pots on the terrace. The menu is the same "typical Sicilian" as in many Palermo restaurants and the cooking pretty average. Service was satisfactory. There was much to complain about, but nothing much to commend it either.

Not very expensive and the pizza was okay but had to wait a really long time for the bill. It's like they ignore you after they serve the dinner. You want to leave, ask for the bill twice and still they don't come To receive the payment.

There are many top notch, inexpensive places to eat in Palermo. This is not one of them. The food is average at best - dry meat, tasteless sauces, and sub-par pizza. The portions are skimpy, and less than you'd expect for the price. The wine was rough, bottom of the barrel swill (though admittedly, we only asked for the house... More

We lunched at this restaurant before leaving for the airport at the end of our holiday. My husbands quattro formagio pizza was delicious and a generous size. I ordered scallopine with gorgonzola sauce, fries and grilled vegetables. The scallopine and sauce were nice, the grilled vegetables a little underdone and the fries just the usual frozen variety. We had a... More

We were fatigued and looking for a place for lunch. After walking down the main shopping street and heading back to our hotel, we found this place. While talking us into trying this venue, the waiter was initially engaging. Once he sat us, however, his demeanor changed. The place was moderately busy. We had to ask for napkins and we... More

If you travel to Palermo, never ever go to that place for dinner. Quality of food is poor (you call this Pizza? Fries tasted like fish oil, mixed salat??? Hahaha) and a very arrogant waiter who made a sexistic choke about me ordering a bottle of water. Then 30 people spontaneously came for dinner and chaos began... they forgot our... More

Verry bad food!!!! I had a simple pasta with tomato sauce. The sauce was made from puréed tomatoes with lots of sugar. No salt no pepper nothing like that. sickening !!!!

Big on price, small on quality. Nothing at all to recommend this place. Wine is only available by the (expensive)1/2 or full bottle. My grilled fish plate was probably the worst I've ever had in Italy..1 prawn, 1 small piece of whitefish, a very tough piece of calamari, and some dry octopus for 12 Euro. And the grilled vegetables were... More

My hotel was lovely and they told me this restaurant was owned by a friend & specialised in local Sicilian food. I was a bit wary but as the hotel was very good I decided to trust their recommendation. Big mistake. The waiter on the prowl getting people in was as nice as pie until I sat down and from... More
