When you stop by the Pizzoleria you certainly wanna eat the pizzoli, either in a savory or sweet version if you have different types of cravings. Pizzoli are similar to a pizza but prepared with s layers of dough filled with typical products. I suggest you to try the Nostrano (with Mozzarella and Sicilian Sausage) or the one with Mozzarella,... More

The location is perfect, near the Duomo. The service is good and the staff is friendly. They have home red wine. The pizza is different from the usually italian pizza, but it's very good and the double pizza is huge!

Located in the historic centre of Catania a restaurant that serves Arabic style dishes, specializing in Pizzolli. Dough based with lots of lovely fresh vegetables. The staff werw friendly and quick. The wine was value for money.

At La Pizzoleria you don't eat pizzas but pizzoli (pizza with 2 pizza doughs - such as a pie). That's original and delicious. Do not hesitate to share 1 for 2. Try also pizzoli as dessert (with pistachio cream or nutella).

I never ate a pizzole before. But it was lovely! It tasted great, I had the quattro formaggi. They have an English menu too. Staff was very friendly and spoke also some English. I can recommend trying a pizzole. One pizzole was too much for me though. I could only eat half. Fair prices. Not so much choice in coffees.

This restaurant offers a very special kind of pizza: pizzole. It looks like two pizzas on top of eachother. Simply delicious but A LOT! So if you can not finish it all, take the left overs with you in a box. So you have something to eat later....

Actually the worst pizza i've eaten. The double pizza was horrible. Three children and two adults. We ordered 3 pizzas which was to much (pizzas are double and consist of ordinary bread and cheese and some bad quality ingridients). Avoid! All of us only took a small bite and then we did not touch the food anymore. Manager said sorry... More

One pizzoli for two that's it ! Delicious simple and you can eat outside on the square. The staff speak English and they are nice. We recommend this place !

The pizzole, double sided pizzas, are very tasty!! Friendly staff and nice location close to the Duomo. My favourite is the "Alla Gigi"
