This restaurant has a truly Sardinian kitchen, which in this case is vegetables and meat -- no fish. It breathes a local atmosphere. The formula is that you choose a dinner ranging from€13 to €30, the price depending on the number of courses you order. Although the restaurant had been recommended to me by two people, I was disappointed. Too... More

My colleagues and I came here to try the typical 'porceddu' dish and we were amazed by the quantity and quality! Extremely recommended, I would suggest to start will small portions not to overdo it by the end ;)))

Rather than a standard menu, you choose a combination of courses eg starter and second course, or second and third course etc. There were about 7 options ranging from about e15 to e30. All options include cover, bread, a small muscadet dessert wine and service. The tables are already laid with taglieri (sliced meat and cheese) and side plates of... More

No matter that the vales stew was a little tough, the Sardinian wafer bread bruschette was great. But the piece de resistance was the dessert platter. A little jug of vinsanto, a hard biscuit to soak, a soft biscuit, a sweet ball, a chocolate sweet & a praline. Oh my god!. YES! A coffee & on top a glass of... More

The food is great, all local stuff, more than plenty, appetizers are already on the table, when you arrive, so is the wine and you already start asking who is going to eat all of that....until you taste it, then you know: I'm going to eat it all :)) same with the wine that keeps coming until you say stop....main... I read the reviews, so we decided to try and get into the restaurant. We were able to get a seat right away, we were in the right place at the right time. After that got really busy. We asked the waiter that did not speak good English what he thought was the best. We do know a little Italian.... More

Go as a group, way cheaper. It's family style, bring your appetite and a willingness to try new things. I don't get out of my box often, but last night I had the donkey stew and it was as good, if not better, than most beef stews. The English is not strong so have patience.

The menu takes understanding!!! You have to choose a combination of courses. Could be starter and pudding or second and third but you get wine pudding wine and even liqueur coffee bread. There are no extras. We paid €69 for 3 of us and enjoyed it but some choices were not available.

The Ammentos was a recommendation from our host where we were staying. To make it short: Our expectations were far exceeded! The selection of menues is a bit challenging at the beginning. But as soon as you know the building system it's very simple. You have the choice of different sizes of menues where you can choose for each course... More
