My hotel recommended this non-touristy, family run, and non-seafood trattoria for my final night in Algerho on 7 May 2017. Not at all disappointed with an antipasto platter of two types of percorino, spicy olives, proscuitto, porchetta, and spicy salsiccia. A spectacular roasted suckling pig with potatoes and grilled vegetables was accompanied by a 1/2 liter of Cannonau. Amazing flavours... More

We have spent 11 days here in Alghero and this is by far my favorite place to eat. We have gone back a few times to be sure we got to try everything we wanted too. I am a meat lover but my travel companion is vegetarian so this can challenge our ability to find exquisite food for both of... More

A brother and sister own and operate this family restaurant. Mostly locals eat hear. The food and atmosphere are very traditional and family oriented. They have a unique way of bringing food out on platters. I would highly recommend you dine hear.

I went there twice, for lunch by myself and for dinner with a party of eight. Both were very good but lunch was better, it was crowded with locals, the servers busy and the, presumably, owner was coordinating everything. It was a great atmosphere. In the evening it was half empty and mainly tourists. We had the banquet, the food... More

We were recommended to go here by the cycle hire shop and it was an excellent recommendation. We had the 25 euro menu which consisted of two starters, one cold one hot..both delicious and then "little piggy" which is suckling pig and it was all superb. It also included wine and water so very good value..we could hardly move as we were so... Stayed at nearby Villa Mosca Charming House and this was a very short walk. Good intro to local pasta with simple ingredients that isn't over-complicated by too many flavours. Very few vegetarian or seafood options but enough to satisfy those who don't eat meat. Couldn't fault the food, wine or service.

We dined here on 2 occasions. Traditional local dishes with an extensive menu, including spiced donkey and sheeps testicles for the more adventurous foodies. Service was very good and so was the food. This restaurant is always busy in the evenings, so booking is advisable.

Dinner here tonight. High expectations based on other reviews. Adequate at best. Ravioli with ricotta was grainy as if it was boiled too much. Staff disinterested and curt. Poor on all levels. Much better around. Check my other reviews.

What a great foodie paradise. If you want to taste fantastic local meals for great price come hare very early or make a reservation in advance. The restaurant was full shortly after opening for dinner. I chose the set menu: Selection of sardiniancold cuts and aged cheeses Ravioli filled with ricotta in fresh tomato and basil sauce Stewed lamb with... More
