Soo good! For me this was the best gelato I had in Bari! I recomend nocciola e pistacchio! Creamy and great taste! The lady serving it was nice to explain what the other flavors were... Also the terrace it has a nice view of the castle, and by night it has a verry tipical Bari feeling!

Maybe I just didn't chose the best flavors they had, I had the lemon and melon gelato and both tastes were watery and lacked the creamy texture I was used to.

One of the best ice cream shop that i have ever visited. Please if you are near by go and check what they have available. It is a craft ice cream shop so not all time they have available everything. The one from red berries was such a surprise was like eating cranberries, strawberries...

Found the place after seeing it featured on Gino d'Acampo's TV programme. The owner was pleased when we told him we'd come from England to taste his ice cream! It was delicious ice cream - I had two flavours of chocolate - and must be one of the best places in Italy.

I've never reviewed a Gelateria before but having stumbled upon this it was a real find. Old fashioned ice cream really good flavours. I had ricotta & fichi plus almond which was great. May wife had chocolato fondente and melone both of which were great.

We came to have an ice cream. They offered a taste and it was good. We wanted to get it and they said please sit we will bring it. And they did. Afterwards they issued us a bill that was 5 times bigger - with explanation that we have used their terrace. Arrogant cheaters with good ice cream

I can't count how many gelaterias i have tested throughout the years in Italy, especially Milan. But with no doubt this was the best gelato ever. I wish i lived in Bari and could get more of "ricotta and fichi" flavour!

Some of the best Gelato in Italy. Definitely in the top 5 and I've been to over 100 gelaterias. I had the crema antica, which was sweet and creamy. Two of my girls had the fondenta (dark chocolate). My oldest daughter had the limone, which had a delightful fresh, clean flavor. The server, Lucia, was very sweet to my girls.... More

We stopped here on our bike ride (Velo Bari -- another fun activity in Bari). This gelato is absolutely delicious. I had the dark chocolate with orange chunks -- brought back memories of my favorite ice cream in San Clemente, CA. The flavors were intense. Go and enjoy!!! They say they have a shop in Williamsburg / Brooklyn. Am looking... More

Antica Gelateria Gentile was defined as our guide in Bari as the best Gelateria in town and indeed we found the ice sream there to be delicious. I recommend especially the Pistachio - Superb!
